What's Inside My February 2012 Topbox?

This is actually my third Topbox. I never got around to posting about the first two. I have been fairly satisfied with my monthly samples.

This February box brings me two products I've actually been very anxious to try. The Yves Saint Laurent Effet Faux Cils mascara and Touche Éclat. The only downside is the teeny size of them. It is a very small sample tube of mascara and the Touche Éclat is on of those peel off samples you'd expect to find in a magazine. Still a great way to try these very pricey products prior to purchasing though.

Something that has been bothering me lately appeared again in this month's Topbox. Hand Cream. Sure we can all use hand cream, and heck maybe through this I will finally find the perfect one, but it seems every monthly subscription sample box has some form of hand cream in it every month. This box happens to have two! A full sized C.Booth Derma Collagen Elastin Restorative Hand & Nail Treatment as well as two sample packets of LillyPilly Kakadu Plum Hand & Body Creme. I must say the C.Booth Derma hand cream looks promising given it's anti-aging ingredients.

The final item is a full sized eye shadow from the brand Pari Beauty. This is a Canadian brand I am unfamiliar with. The shade I received, 74, is a lovely iridescent purple. The pigmentation seems a bit on the sheer side from my experience swatching it but I will wait till I put it to use to form a final opinion. The eye shadow pan was completely loose in the compact but I'm unsure if it is supposed to be like that or if it was a manufacturing flaw.

The Topbox monthly subscription service is $10 a month plus tax.
