Well gals I think I'm in trouble. After playing more and more with the new Fall Chocolat Donna Collection from shu uemura (my first real experience with shu uemura) I must say I am hooked. Undeniably, unequivocally hooked on shu. The final items from the collection I have to share with you are the two Glow On blushes released with the collection Framboisier and Apricot.

I had heard raves about the shu uemura Glow on Blush formula back in the days I used to spend oodles of time on Makeup Alley. I now know what all the fuss is about. These actually remind me a bit of my beloved Chanel Joues Contraste blushes (US formula) with their delicate glow. They are smooth, pigmented, and apply evenly. I am really in love with the formula and have every intention of investing in some more shades ASAP.

Framboisier is a gorgeous, mid toned berry pink.

Apricot is a lovely, sunny orange.

I thought at first that there would be no way I could wear Apricot but it actually melds into my skin and looks quite nice. The Framboisier is perfection, and I am really loving layering the two for varying tones of coral depending on how much of each shade I use. The swatches below are heavy, sponge tip applicator swatches of Apricot, Framboisier, then the two layered (I used a little more Apricot in the combo).

These refills are priced at $21.50 each. I am excited that they are a good value in this refill format because it makes them easy to throw in my Z Palettes and move around. I don't need to worry about purchasing the compacts.

Framboisier and Apricot are Limited Edition shades. They are available at Holt Renfrew in Canada and on
