I was lucky enough to win this big honkin bronzer through a blog giveaway. Even though this product is carried on Neiman Marcus's website where I do all my shopping I don't think I ever would have noticed it otherwise. I'm not familiar with the Orlane brand at all. This is from the Neiman Marcus website:

About Orlane:In 1946, Jean d'Albret, the founder of Parfums Jean d'Albret, created Orlane, a beauty and skincare company. Today, Orlane is known worldwide for its refined and highly effective products. With a loyal following, the name stands for 60 years of research and experience dedicated to beauty.

I was blown away by this bronzer. First of all by it's size. It's designed to be used on face and body so it comes in a huge compact. Here is is next to a Chanel quad/blush sized compact for comparison:

The second thing that blew me away was that this is actually a perfect bronzer for the uber pale like me! It is a very soft tan without too much orange and a very subtle glow. It is a VERY natural bronzer that can easily be built up if you want more colour. It is a very soft, creamy powder and applies beautifully.

From the Orlane website:

A bronzing powder for a healthy glow all year round.
ACTIONS:This fine, silky powder instantly beautifies the skin, giving it a subtle, natural tan that can be increased as desired.
With natural moisturizing and nourishing ingredients, it feels comfortable all day long, while smoothing the skin and boosting the complexion’s healthy glow.
BEAUTY RESULT:The lightweight, fine texture makes it easy to apply the powder so it looks natural, with no heavy appearance.
The complexion is instantly beautified, matte and natural, for a radiant face.

Last but not least this bronzer is a bargain! It's double the weight of the Chanel bronzers released this year and it's only $40 US!
