I absolutely love Make Up For Ever's complexion products but for some reason I've never really explored their colour range. I think the overwhelming selection of gorgeous colours may have had a little something to do with it. I just could never decide on what to try first! I'm delighted to have two of the new Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks to share with you. The same amazing colour selection as the regular Rouge Artist line but with a lighter finish and luminous shine. Perfect for summer!
Rouge Artist Natural has an ultra creamy formula that hydrates the lips with a natural sheen.
Enriched with a cocktail of vegetal ingredients, made of waxes and Cupuassu Butter, it contains nourishing properties for a moisturizing smooth texture that glides on effortlessly.
Its translucent shine reveals pure pearls and pigments for a profusion of 50 luminous shades.
Rouge Artist Natural makes it possible to find a color to suit every mood!
The two shades I have for you are N36 which is an iridescent light coral and N28 which is a vibrant plum purple.
The lipsticks apply so beautifully. They are sheer still manage to offer so much COLOUR! They apply evenly and layer up nicely for more pigment. They feel so incredibly light and moisturizing. I really, really love this formula. I just felt like they made my lips look so healthy and juicy and left my lips moisturized. The lipsticks held on fairly well through meals but since they are sheer you aren't going to get a huge amount of lasting power. Reapplying is a pleasure though with this formula. I don't believe these lipsticks are scented but they do have a bit of that "lipstick smell" if you know what I mean. It is very mild so it didn't really bother me after I first noticed it.
I really love these shades. N36 I see as becoming one of my go to summer lips when I want something subtle yet colourful and N28 is great when I want that extra fun punch of colour without feeling over the top with a heavy, bold lip.
The first lip swatch of each shade is in indirect natural light and the second in direct sunlight.
