Lise Watier has released two new nail lacquers for summer 2012 that feature the handy light in the cap. As I mentioned in my post about Euphorbia nail polish from the Spring Aquarella collection at first look I thought the light in the cap concept was "a little hokey" but I quickly realized just how valuable it is!

These two new shades are limited edition and retail for $12.50. They are both vibrant creams. Dragon Fruit is a hot pink and Tangerine...tangerine.

I wanted to swatch both colours at once for you which resulted in my sad attempt at nail art. Attempting a freehand stripe after a few glasses a wine while watching television on a Friday night is not the best idea. My "stripe" ended up taking up almost the whole side of my nails which was not really my intention. Oh well. At least you get to see both shades and how pretty they look together!

It is now Monday (painted on Friday) and my manicure is still perfect with the exception of one nail I snagged on something. That is very impressive as far as I'm concerned and especially impressive on my nails since I have a hard time making it past one day before chipping and peeling starts. I had good opacity in two coats but experienced a bit of cuticle drag. I think I could have easily avoided this though had I given a bit more time between coats. I find Lise Watier's formula and brush very easy to work with.
