I've chosen to first introduce you to some of the eye products from the gorgeous Lise Watier Aquarella Collection for Spring 2012. Aquarella is a breathtaking collection inspired by the soft pastel shades of spring flowers. It offers "fresh and bright colours in celebration of the return of spring". This offering from Lise Watier has me delusionally believing that even before the real arrival of winter that spring is just around the corner!

The look I did featuring all of the products (every shade!) that will be reviewed in this post with Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara:

The Aquarella Quartet eye shadow palette ($36) is housed in a lovely limited edition case. The bronzer from the collection is packaged in the same way. It is even more beautiful than this picture demonstrates:

The colours included in the Aquarella Quartet are pink, soft gold, dark purple and and icy pastel blue. All the shades have varying degrees of shimmer. The eye shadow formula is a nicely pigmented creamy powder. They blend well and the colour payoff is excellent. I was really blown away by this palette. I feared the soft gold would never work as a highlight on my fair, cool skin but the sheerness of this particular shade made it perfect for it's designed purpose. I would also never considering a blue that shade but used to highlight the inner corner of the eye and line the lower lashline with to look I created was gorgeous. I can't wait to start playing with some new colour placement combinations!

The Couleur Folle Mineral Loose eye shadow ($18) is available in two new shades for Spring 2012; Folie Peche and Folie d'Iris. I have Folie d'Iris to share with you which is an amazing purple that applied beautifully and I was shocked by the lack of fallout from this loose formula. I'm looking forward to seeing the other shades of Couleur Folle that are available.

The new Violet shade of the Lise Watier Waterproof Eye Pencil ($17) has a beautiful, subtle luminescence that I hope you can detect in my pictures. The formula is very creamy and budgeproof. These pencils are definitely waterproof!

All of the eye products swatched together:

To sum it up I am absolutely wowed by this collection. I probably would have passed it up if I'd seen it in store thinking some of the shade wouldn't have worked out very well for me in the quad but they ended up being perfect. I will not be overlooking Lise Watier again!
