This fall you are given a fun assortment of beauty trends to play with. No matter what your taste you will certainly find something that you like.
Metallic colors on the dark side are strong for fall. The colors that we are seeing the most of are deep reds, blues and chromes all of which are shiny and can be used to create a variety of looks. You can use metallic colors on your eyes, lips and nails to get a noticeable look.
Get your eyes to stand out by drawing a thick line rather than a thin one. A modern wingtip is especially nice and you can go a little longer than you normally would for an added edge. Applying black elongating mascara will also draw attention to your eyes. Now for the shadow. There are so many options of how to apply your eye shadow this fall. You can try a natural look, metallic shadow or a smokey eye. Whatever you decide it should work to bring focus to your eye area.
Hot pink ruled the summer but this fall it’s the color red that has taken over the runways and the streets. From a bright shiny red to a more iridescent color to darker wine colors, they’re all in fashion this fall.
Knowing how much women love pink, the designers have added a soft touch of pink blush to the palette for fall. Use a large makeup brush to apply a small amount of pink that will help bring out your cheekbones. Remember clowns are not stylish for fall so don’t overdo it with hot pink cheeks.
Take inspiration from the metallic colors, red lips and the smoldering eyes and go punk. Top of your look with the right hairstyle and some brightly colored punk inspired clothes that we’ve been seeing on the runways and you’re good to go.
For those days (or nights) that you feel like keeping it simple try the natural look. Use colors in the pink and brown family so that you get the coverage that you need without it being obvious. If you want to bring some pow to this look you can add a touch of shimmer but keep It light. Remember, just because you’re wearing makeup it doesn’t mean that everyone should know about it.
Above all, this fall you should have fun with your makeup so act like a little girl in your mom’s closet and get creative.
