When I saw swatches of Chanel's Miami Peach Le Vernis start to appear when it was re-released as a Neiman Marcus exclusive I fell in love. I fell even more in love with it when I got Morning Rose from the Summer 2011 collection and realized they had a similar finish. I wasn't willing to pay the extra $10 (hazardous materials shipping fee to Canada) to have it shipped to me from Neiman Marcus so I tried to get over my disappointment and move on. I had heard that it was released in Canada as well so I just hoped that one day when I finally went shopping in person at a counter I would find it. Well I was so excited to discover this weekend that Miami Peach is actually part of the permanent collection in Canada! Yay! Well I was quickly disappointed to discover the Chanel counter at Holt Renfrew was out of stock but an hour later I found it at The Bay.

I'm very pleased with the colour. It has the same pretty, delicate finish I love with Morning Rose but in a corally peach version. A subtle, sheer, jelly sort of finish that I find works best by only wearing two coats and not trying to fight the jelly/sheer quality by adding more. It also has the same subtle gold shimmer as Morning Rose which I find it more noticeable on the nail with Miami Peach.

I apologize as my manicure is no longer fresh in this picture. I had to wait a couple of days for sun.
