I thought it was about time I showcased some of my favourite products on Perilously Pale. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the latest collections and releases that we neglect the products that won our hearts in the not so distant past. The Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow palette in Kaska Beige from the Spring 2010 collection is an item I will always adore and I have every intention of replacing it when the time comes. Of course I will have to hope they don't make the crazy move of discontinuing this classic. I don't believe in backups, but if I ever hear of Kaska Beige's demise I will make an exception to that rule and snatch one up without a second thought!

The quad includes an almost matte ivory beige, a slightly mauved brown with a very soft satin finish, shimmery plummed dark brown, and a shimmery coppery tan.

Bottom line: This is a staple for me. I turn to it when I want a fool proof look that I know will look great without effort or thought. It can take me from the average day to a night out and I've even chosen it to wear to job interviews.
