Byzance de Chanel Collection Regard Signe de Chanel Topkapi Quad - Swatches and Review

I waivered quite a bit before deciding to purchase Topkapi. I knew right away I wanted the Rouge Joues Contraste and the Rouge Allure from the collection but Topkapi had me on the fence. Firstly it was more expensive than other Chanel quads and secondly the colours didn't seem terribly unique. Well I have to say that I am happy I went for it. While not all that original the colours are unique to my collection and the formula is extraordinary. They are extremely pigmented (just the way I like my eye shadows) and the finish is lovely. They are also extremely smooth. They almost feel like the Ombres Perlees de Chanel quint shadows but better (in my opinion). My only disappointment is that the chocolate brown shade has a bronze/copper tone in the pan and swatched but goes really dark on my lids and doesn't look near as pretty on my skin as it does in the palette. You will see what I mean when I post the two Face of the Day's I've done with this palette. I won't get into to much detail about the shades etc. in this quad as it is no longer available. (At least that I'm aware of.)
