Butter London Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

I am in serious trouble with this collection! I want every single shade. Even if I try and narrow it down I can’t even choose one to rule out first. What do you think of this collection? I love the pistachio and cataloupe shades and the teal looks just amazing! I’m happy there are so many creams in this collection as I have a tonne of sparkly goodies on their way to me from a-england!

Face of the Day with the Lise Watier Spring 2012 Aquarella Collection Roundup

Now that I’ve shared reviews of all of the products I received from the Lise Watier Aquarella 2012 Spring collection I can show you the Face of the Day from when I tested and swatched the products. From the lack of snow (these were taken before Christmas) you can almost pretend it’s spring!

These are all the products used in the look:

Lise Watier Spring 2012 Aquarella Collection Euphorbia Nail Lacquer – Swatches and Review

Today I have for you my final installment in my reviews of the beautiful Lise Watier Spring 2012 Collection Aquarella. I reviewed the eye products here, lip products here, and the Bronzing Duo here.
Euphorbia Nail Lacquer ($14) is a delightful purple cream. It is a beautiful shade for spring yet deep enough I didn’t feel totally ridiculous wearing it around in December while testing it out. Application was really nice. It was opaque in two coats and applied really evenly. The polish was glossy and lasted really well.
On day two or three (I can’t really remember now) I put a coat of Butter London Tart with a Heart on top and WOW was it ever gorgeous! Sorry I should have taken pics of that for you but I never had a chance.
See the little bump out on the front of the cap? That’s a built in light. Yes you read that right…a light! There is a little button on the top of the cap you push to turn it on and off. At first I thought “well that’s kinda hokey” but you know what? It is wonderful. I have pretty abysmal lighting in my house and it doesn’t matter where I go I never have good lighting for painting my nails so this was really, really handy. Here is a picture of it on another shade of Lise Watier polish from their website:
I’ve been incredibly pleased with this collection. I will no longer be overlooking Lise Watier cosmetics and I can’t wait to explore the line more. Stay tuned for my full Face of the Day post showcasing the Aquarella Spring 2012 collection.
