Yves Saint Laurent Premiere Neige Top Coat for Holiday 2012 Review

IMG_4075 (1)

When I first saw this top coat I was mesmerized. The snowglobe effect of the polish in the bottle is so beautiful. At the same time I was thinking that, while pretty in the bottle, how much of an impact is this subtle beauty going to impart on my nails. Well the effect on the nail, while being subtle and classy, is phenomenal. The stunning, fine shimmer enhances the beauty of any polish you top it with. Depending on the angle of the light the effect shifts from blue, to aqua, to purple, and even to pink. I am SO in love with this! I have taken too long to post this review for you because I was hoping to better capture the effect in photos but I have proven unsuccessful. Just take my word on it! I actually think it has made my manicures last a little longer but that may be a figment of my imagination.

Sorry this manicure was a few days old when these photos were taken hence the tip wear. This is over black.

Biotherm Has You Covered with These Last Minute Stocking Stuffers

Biotherm has released limited edition 20ml bottles of four Les Eaux scents for the holidays. With their petite size, beautiful packaging, and affordable price of $15 they make exceptional stocking stuffers. The four available scents are Eau Océan, Eau Pure, Eau Vitaminée, and Eau D’Énergie. I have Eau Océan and Eau Pure and they are both gorgeous, light scents that you can spray on anytime to feel fresh and pretty. I love spraying a bit in my hair as well.

With the purchase of any one of Les Eaux, $1 will be donated to Mission Blue for the preservation of the Ross Sea in Antarctica. Biotherm Worldwide, through its Water Lovers charity, has pledged to donate a minimum of 250,000 Euros to support Mission Blue.

So if you’re still looking for a couple last minute gifts then pop in to The Bay and select Shoppers Drug Mart to pick these up while they last.
