Covergirl Ink It Eye Liner in Aquamarine Ink ~ Photos, Swatches, and Review

COVERGIRLinkit1

The new COVERGIRL Ink It by Perfect Point Plus eye liners ($9.99 CAD) promise long wearing, waterproof, performance with intense colour payoff and my experience with Aquamarine Ink confirms their claims.

The liner has a fine tip and is self sharpening. Twist the applicator and it clicks up to reveal more product.

The shade Aquamarine Ink is gorgeous. It is opaque after a few passes and it is a stunning, vibrant, shimmering aquamarine blue. It lasted all day on my lower lashline and I was impressed to see it even held up for several hours on my lower waterline. I am totally in love with this summer perfect shade.

New from Nicole by OPI ~ Neon Mini Kits and Gumdrops Collection

NicolebyOPINeonMinisGumdrops

Nicole by OPI New Limited Edition Neon Mini Kits ~ Nicole by OPI launches its first neon nail lacquer with two limited edition mini kits. Each Neons kit includes a special white base coat, to be applied before adding colour, allowing true neon pigments to pop. In addition to the white base, Scandalous! Neons includes: Blue Neon (this blatant blue is deliberately belligerent), Purple Neon (this attention-seeking purple is a real publicity hound), and Pink Neon (this pink’s purpose is to provoke your senses). Along with white base, Notorious! Neons includes: Green Neon (this gossip-stirring green is the talk of the town), Fuchsia Neon (this fuchsia is famous for being unabashedly bold), and Orange Neon (this outrageous orange doesn’t know the meaning of meek).

Scandalous! Neons and Notorious! Neons mini packs will be available in stores beginning May 2013 for $12.50 each alongside Nicole by OPI’s Top Coat Plus for $10.99 at Loblaw, Jean Coutu, Rexall, London Drugs, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Nicole by OPI NEW Limited Edition Gumdrops Nail Lacquers ~ Gumdrops feature brilliant candy coloured hues with “sugar-like” finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. Worn without top coat, Gumdrops lacquers dry to a textured matte finish to give nails a “sugar” coated appearance.

  • I Lilac Gumdrops -But I love this sugar-frosted lavender.
  • My Cherry Amour -You’re the one magenta I adore.
  • Candy is Dandy – This sweet pink is my favorite guilt-free treat. – Cinna-man of My Dreams – I dream in shades of this warm spice pink.

Guerlain’s Spring/Summer 2013 Wishlist Inducing Product Introductions

Guerlain is a brand that always catches my attention. It’s a combination of gorgeous packaging, breathtaking promotional photos of the gorgeous Natalia, and stunning shade offering that get me every time. I often find myself so overwrought with need that I can’t decide what I want from their collections as I want it ALL. The Spring and Summer 2013 introductions have brought not only beautiful new shades but also numerous completely new products and formulas to the Guerlain lineup. It’s hard to keep up! Guerlain always outdoes itself with their Terracotta seasonal collections which are one of the best brand offerings for bronzing options for a wide range of skintones. The Terra Ora Summer collection brings even more bronzing options in the intricately designed Terra Ora powder in ornate wooden magnetic closure packaging and a companion limited edition bronzing brush. One of the new product introductions is the loose eyeshadow formulation released as part of this collection. There’s also a new Lingerie de Peau BB Cream and Meteorites Perles primer. Add to that the luxurious looking new Gloss d’Enfer Maxi Shine lip glosses, and a completely new addition of nail lacquers to the Guerlain range and how is any beauty lover to know where to start? I haven’t even barely scratched the surface of the new products that have been hitting Guerlain counters. I couldn’t help but throw together a little collage of pretty Guerlain eye candy.
