The Dior Cheek & Lip Glow ($39 CAD) in Instant Blushing Rosy Tint 001 is one of the coolest looking products I've seen released in a while. I love just looking at it on my desk bathed in sunlight. It has such a lovely glowing effect. The packaging is similar to a Dior nail polish bottle. The cap lifts off (no twisting) and reveals the black twist cap below with attached applicator. The applicator wand has a tapered ball shaped felt tip. I find it works really well for picking up the right amount of product without

When spring comes I tend to turn to sheerer foundations and tinted moisturizers with natural dewy finishes. This brings with it the transition to cream blushes and cheek stains. Products that look more natural in the harsh (and so desperately yearned for) rays of the sun and more resistant to hotter, more humid, weather. Bring it on! Here are some new and old favourites I will be turning to this spring and summer. The new Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll Kiss & Blush ($45 CAD/$40 US) has a light airy mousse texture that blends
The Pantone colour of the year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid and I couldn't be happier about it. It is such a pretty shade. Benefit Canada sure has their timing right with the release of their newest lip and cheek stain. Benefit Lollitint ($36 CAD) just happens to be the prettiest candy-orchid shade. The perfect way to embrace 2014's hottest colour! Benefit Lollitint will be available January 2014. I received a sample of The Balm Stainiac Hint of Tint in Beauty Queen (berry pink) last summer with an online order and I finally tried it. I am in love! This unique water based formula gives you lots of time to blend and the results are an amazing healthy flush of colour to your lips and cheeks. It lasted all day on my cheeks and a really long time on my lips. Even better is the fact it's totally affordable. I think it retails for $17 US and $18 CAD. I will definitely be picking up a full sized version of this product and check
The shade Flush is described as sheer rouge. When applied it looks just like that natural flush of one's skin so I find that shade name quite appropriate! It looks incredibly natural and not like you are wearing any makeup at all as it melts into the skin. It is very easy to blend out and I had no troubles applying it. The first time I wore it I applied after I had put on my "face" and I had some fading. Actually it pretty much disappeared. The second time I waited to apply a light dusting of setting powder until after I had
