This weeks FashionMagazine.com Beauty Panel challenge was celebrity idols that inspire our hair and/or makeup. I don’t really idolize any celebrities as far as fashion, beauty, or anything else for that matter, but when it comes to a celebrity’s red carpet looks that usually catch my eye it would have to be Kristen Stewart. I tend to find the makeup looks on the red carpet rather boring. Sure they look gorgeous and polished, but I usually find myself viewing the look as more “everyday” than red carpet worthy. What I love about Kristen is how adventurous her makeup looks are and that she is not afraid to experiment with colour. Smoky eyes infused with vibrant shades of colour is one of her signature styles that I am most fond of. I love the elongated shape her eyeshadow usually takes and the beauty of her porcelain skin. While I often find myself wanting to reach out and touch up her lip product, as it almost always seems to look worn off possibly from too much lip locking with Robert Pattinson, I still love the overall package. I tried to put on my best constipated expression for my Kristen Stewart inspired look but I don’t quite have the knack for it that Kristen does!

With buzz of Coachella being in the air the season of music festivals is upon us. I am not one to attend music festivals, yet if the opportunity arose I would have these things in mind when it came to my look. Natural, effortless, waterproof, and sunscreen! While I won’t go au natural, a music festival isn’t really the place to look like your ready for a night club either. I want to subtly enhance my features and bring some colour to my face without looking like I’ve tried too hard. I find this type of look best accomplished with cream products.
