Dior Blazing Gold look

Dior Blazing Gold Holiday 2015 Look

I thought you might like to see the Dior Holiday Eyeshadow palettes in action. Here is a look featuring the Blazing Gold Palette. I love doing a smokey eye with the chestnut shade all on the inner and outer corners up into the crease and blended to connect. Then I add the red on the centre of the lid. The sparkling charcoal makes a gorgeous liner and intensifies the outer corner. The peachy gold centre shade highlights the inner corner with a touch of gold (which I forgot to add until after I took pics Doh!). With such an intense

Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Look Review Including the New Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl

Oh my goodness I am in TROUBLE. I have developed an all consuming obsession with Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics. I have been a fan of Charlotte Tilbury for years. I can't even remember how I was first introduced to her, but I loved her YouTube videos. When she announced she was coming out with her own cosmetics line I was incredibly excited. I knew she loved high end, luxury products so I was expecting nothing but the best. When the range was first released, but not yet available in Canada, I was so close to ordering from the UK, I

Summer Makeup Look

Summer Wedding Makeup Look

This week the Makeup Wars team is sharing our favourite Summer Wedding Makeup Look. This look will look equally beautiful on a wedding guest as it would the bride. Most of the summer weddings I attend are outdoor affairs. You want to look fresh, polished, and pretty all while surviving the heat and humidity. Plus you want to look as good on that dance floor late into the night as you do many, many hours earlier during the ceremony. My go to summer wedding look usually revolves around accentuating my blue eyes with warm browns

Bronze Glow Summer Makeup Look

I thought I would share this look with you from last week that I was particularly pleased with. Even though my skin leans cool neutral I still love using warm shaded to bring out my blue eyes and I find I can pull them off quite well. Especially when summer rolls around I find myself reaching for warmer makeup more and more. I find warm bronze and peach shades combined with glowy skin to be the perfect summer makeup. Products used: Complexion Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer SPF 20 Make Up For Ever Face & Body

NARS Dual Intensity Blush and Eye Shadow Review and Look

Recently, after the success of the NARS Dual-Intesity Eyeshadows, NARS released their new NARS Dual Intensity Blush duos. I actually had yet to try the NARS Dual-Intensity Eye Shadow formula so I took the opportunity to test out both and create a look. The shade of blush I tested was the NARS Dual-Intestity Blush ($45 US/$52 CAD) in Frenzy. Certainly not an optimal shade combination for a fair cool-neutral skin tone but I was not disappointed with the formula. The colour description for Frenzy is "sparkling soft pink-gold

My Favourite One Eyeshadow Eye Looks | Makeup Wars

Today the Makeup Wars team is showing you some great eye looks for when your in a rush but still want to look fabulous. One Eyeshadow Eye Looks. My all-time favourite eyeshadow for a one eyeshadow look is Burberry Midnight Brown. Using this shade I can create an incredibly sexy brown smokey eye that no one would ever guess was so effortless to create. What makes this shade so perfect for a one shadow look is how impeccably it blends and the nature of it's subtle shimmer. I start by tightlining my upper waterline with black
