• Lovesong for my Lipgloss Christina’s blog has helped me so much with her generous swatches of complete ranges of shades for various products and her thoughtful reviews. I also am happy to call her one my favourite bloggin buddies.
• The Black Panties Not only does she have a great blog that started my interest in Le Metier de Beaute but she is also a super sweet girl who helped a girl in need supply her addiction.

What a shock I experienced when doing my daily catch-up on my favourite beauty blogs to come across my Blog nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by the fabulous Jeanie at Makeup Merriment. It made me feel so lucky to have experienced such a warm welcome by my fellow beauty blogger after having just started my blog only 2 weeks earlier…yup that’s right..my baby was only 2 weeks old! Then imagine my staggering shock to see I was nominated a second time two days later by the sassy duo of Lisa and Marcia at Beauty Info Zone. I then was blessed enough to receive yet another nomination by my fellow Le Metier de Beaute devotee Jenn at Hopelessly Devoted to Makeup. I’ve been a long time reader of beauty blogs since I rely heavily on them for swatches and reviews since I do all of my shopping online. I have developed terribly expensive tastes and shopping blind is a horrible thing. I don’t know what I would do without all of you. Of course maybe I wouldn’t have such expensive tastes if it weren’t for all of you wonderful bloggers that I follow….hmmmm. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate and have enjoyed all the fabulous new friends I have made!

1. I already shared this little tid bit with all the lovely followers of Modesty Brown on her Friday Confessional last week but in case there are any crazy people out that don’t read her blog I’ll share it again: No one in my real life knows the extent of my passion for makeup or that I have a Blog. You are all my secret friends

2. Again I leaked this already on the Friday Confessional but I really don’t have that many interesting facts about myself LOL…I have a lot of grey hair and have for a very long time. Hair dye is my friend!
3. I have spent almost my entire working life in the automotive sales industry going back to College. I started out at a dealership doing reception, licensing etc. Moved on to a private leasing company doing office admin. After several years there I moved up north to be with my hubby and took a job at another car dealership…this time selling cars. YUP you heard me. I was a car salesmen. Well saleswoman. Let’s just say I was not fond of this position but I needed a job! I then became Business Manager and now for the past 6 years have held the position of Controller.
4. I have two baby teeth.  There were no permanent teeth underneath so the babies have stuck around. Eventually I will loose them which is going to SUCK but so far considering they were only meant to hang around a few years they are doing pretty good.
    
5. I don’t have 7 interesting facts about my self…
6. I chew my nails…terribly. In fact I’m doing it right now. The only way I can keep any length at all to my soft, peeling shabby nails is to keep them perfectly painted constantly. The first hint of a chip and I’m picking and playing with them and eventually chewing. I feel terrible because I have passed this disgusting habit on to my three year old daughter
7. I have a stinky old  Basset Hound Buddy who like to pee all over my floors on a regular basis. ARGHH!  We used to have two basset hounds but my daughter is allergic to dogs and her and Fred loved each other too much to keep apart. We had to give him back to Basset Rescue where we adopted him from.  It was so sad because he was the most good natured dog you could imagine. And so handsome! Buddy is an old grump and stays away from the kids so we haven’t had to worry about her hives but I’m still concerned that it may be affecting her still having him in the air. So here are the blogs I would like to pass this award along too. I realize some of these may have been nominated before so I don’t expect them to repeat their end of the bargain but I still wanted to show them my love. I also want to acknowledge all of the blogs that are part of my core list that I follow even though I know they probably don’t have time to acknowledge such an award and they have probably been nominated umpteen times in the past I’ve also been astonished to realize that I’m not “following” some of my favourite blogs! I’m signed up to follow their blog with email updates but I’m not following them with Blogger. Oops!!
