Swatches of pH Powered Lip Gloss, Bronzer, and Blush

The bronzer and blush are both on the powdery side so you will kick up a bit of product with your brush but they both have a lovely smooth texture and a subtle luminous glow. I think the bronzer is a little yellow for my cool skin even after it “adjusted” but the blush shade was gorgeous. You will notice on the skin swatch above it looks a little more pink, and brighter, than it appears in the pan. I assume that is from the adjustment from my pH level. I wasn’t really able to discern the changes from the environment because frankly things look different in different light so it’s hard to say how it changed.
Now my favourite thing from this new collection is the gloss. Not only did it turn a gorgeous bright pink but wait to you see the little bonus below.
Here is it right after application. (Well as quick as I could be!)

A minute or so later:

After about 5 mins in direct sun:

After 5 mins in indirect natural light. Now check the bonus out…..

This is the stain it left on my lips after I wiped it off. Perfect, even, gorgeous, pigmented pink. This may be the best lip stain I’ve ever used. They say that the gloss has a high performance formula that will last up to 10 hours and I bet you with this stain it may just live up to that. The glossiness will be gone long before that but not the colour. The gloss is also very comfortable to wear and non-sticky.

The bronzer retails for $19.99, Blush $15.99, and the Lip Gloss $12.79. You can find them at your local mass-market store or fine drug store near you that carries Physicians Formula.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner Palettes ~ Nude, Casual, Fashionista ~ Swatches, Pics, Review

How cute are those palettes?! I adore the little details of the bow, zipper, and button. Just that extra little touch to make these already fun palettes even more special.
Each Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner palette includes 9 shadows arranged into 3 co-ordinating trios but you can play any way you like. These particular palettes are from the newly released Universal Looks Collection.

There is also a Smoky palette as part of this collection that I don’t have to share with you.
Pigmentation of these shadows if pretty sheer BUT for more impact you can simply apply wet. These are wet and dry shadows offering both soft and high impact finishes depending on your mood. The swatches below are all dry. The shades offer a variety of softly luminous or shimmery finishes. There are some really lovely, dimensional shades contained in these palettes. None of them are glittery. Used wet these offer more intense pigment and sheen.

Physicians Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in Universal Looks Collection – Swatches, Pics, Review

Smokey Eyes (top) Nude Eyes (bottom)

I’m excited to have the new products from Physicians Formula to share with you. Stay tuned for more reviews in the coming days. I’ve been trying to explore more “Drugstore” products lately and have been quite impressed with some of my discovers so I’m looking forward to getting to know Physicians Formula a little better. I’ve decided to share with you first some of the products I’m most impressed with. The new Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trios in Universal Looks Collection are fabulous sets of three full size liners for the price of one. Each pencil has a built in sharpener and they promote 24 hours of water-resistant, smudge-resistant wear.
They are hypoallergenic. Fragrance, gluten, and paraben free.
There are two sets of three available.
Nude which includes Black, Pewter, and Champagne liners. I LOVE that the Nude trio include a more cool shade of pewter rather than the all warm shades I would have anticipated from a typical  ”nude” set.

Nude Eyes ~ Black, Pewter, Champagne
Smoky Eyes with a Black, Charcoal, and Silver liner.

Smoky Eyes ~ Black, Charcoal, Silver
All shades include shimmer including the black. Pigmentation is on the lighter side but they do layer nicely for a more intense look. What I like about the more sheer application is that it is perfect for the lower waterline. I don’t care for harsh lines under my eyes.

The following swatches were several swipes of the liner.

I am very happy with these sets. The shades are beautiful and work well together. They do indeed wear excellently. They were very difficult to remove from my arm and lasted the day on my eyes without smudging.

The suggested retail price of these trios is $14.79 CDN.
