Superstar mogul and fashion and beauty icon, Beyoncé, sang the National Anthem beautifully during the 2013 Inauguration and it was hard not to notice her gorgois makeup!

Mally and Beyonce

Here are some tips to re-create Beyoncé’s look from famed celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, who worked with her for this special day. Mally shares her tips and tricks on how to steal this look:

  • To first set the skin, apply my Perfect Prep Poreless Primer all over the face and my Cancellation Concealer directly underneath the eyes.
  • To achieve natural-looking coverage, first, apply my Ultimate Performance Liquid Foundation. Next, add a sweep of my NEW Diamond Unpowder that will illuminate the skin followed by brushing on my Effortless Airbrush Highlighter and Blush Duo to the cheeks in order to provide a soft, radiant glow to the skin.
  • To achieve a rich, smokey eye – try my Evercolor Shadow Stick in Saddle Shimmer. Apply this all over the eyelid and underneath as well. Next, select a few shades from the Mally Beauty In the Buff Palette and sweep that onto the eyelids. Finish the look by applying a small amount of my Age Rebel Shadow Stick in Chocolate Diamond on the bottom lid right under your eyelashes to open up the eye followed by using my Lightwand Eyebrightener to the inner corners to instantly brighten this area. Lastly, to achieve this bold eyeliner at-home, try using the Mally Beauty Evercolor Starlight Eyeliner in Midnight, layered with the Ultimate Performance Ink Eyeliner (which is exclusive to QVC.com).
  • Compliment this confident eye by pairing it with a mascara that will enhance the overall look – such as the Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara and/or my NEW Instant Impact Mascara. To create glossy, Beyoncé worthy lips try my High Shine Lip Gloss in Mally’s Look or Mally’s Baby.
  • And last but not least, before you leave the house, apply the Mally Beauty Face Defender to lock your makeup in place and Perfect Prep Hydrating Under Eye Brightener to make the eyes pop!

Anyone can achieve this easy-to-wear look at home. It works on all ages, skin type and color! These essentials from Mally Beauty can be found on QVC.com and MallyBeauty.com.

Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Sticks in Champagne, Bronze, Saddle Shimmer, Topaz ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

I have discovered a new fool proof product for summer and it’s the Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks. These creamy twist-up pencils last all day and the shades and shimmer are stunning.

Evercolor Shadow Stick is the perfect solution for a quick, long wearing eye that looks incredible all day. It won’t come off until you take it off! You can use it to line and define or create a quick smokey eye. The creamy texture helps to smooth out fine lines. You have complete control with this easy to use stick, so have fun and experiment! Once your beautiful eye look is complete you can be sure it will stay fresh all day long!

The four shades I have literally took my breathe away when I swatched them. They are every bit as breathtaking on the eye. You can wear them fully thick as swiped from the pencil or blend them out for a softer look. They blend together beautifully and I have wore all four shades at once with gorgeous result. I thought I had taken pics but I can’t seem to locate them. Sorry!
Now if you think these shades are nice wait do you here this. There are 21 shades of Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick. TWENTY ONE! That is crazy. I am definitely going to have to pick up some more shades. They retail for $25 and can be found on the Mally Beauty website, QVC, and Beauty.com. I can’t seem to find a way to purchase these in Canada since QVC ships to Canada but not cosmetics. The Mally website does not currenty ship to Canada either. I am inquiring for more information on this and will keep my fellow Canadians posted! *Update The beautiful Tracy from Beauty Reflections has let me know that most Mally items do indeed ship from QVC to Canada. Phew!

Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender Review & Giveaway!

I have been intrigued by the Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender for a long time. I have seen the beautiful Mally Roncal on various television shows and was taken with her bubbling personality. I’d heard her speak of her distaste for the drying and aging effects of powders and with my dry skin it was a message that I took to heart. I was so curious about this magical Poreless Face Defender. Could this strange clear product really mattify and set my makeup. Could it blur the annoying pores on my nose and chin? Well in a nutshell yes. This unique product really did do all that it claimed. Plus how great is it that you don’t have to match your skin tone. This product matches everyone! Perfect for my pro kit since one product does it all.

Mally’s Evercolor Poreless face Defender is the perfect finishing touch for your Makeup look. This remarkable technology yields a waterclear, featherweight product that diffuses the look of pores and fine lines, helps makeup last and last, and helps protect your makeup look. Finishes a look, mattifies and smoothes, without the dry, ashy look of powder. Apply with the uniquely luxurious buffed edge Japanese sponge.

Ingredients: Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, PCA Dimethicone, Silica.

The included application sponge is really excellent quality. It does a great job of applying the product. I simply swirl it in the compact then pat it on my face. The shape of the sponge allows you to get into smaller areas with relative ease. I was really impressed at how it seem to blur my imperfections and give a soft matte finish yet I couldn’t detect any product on my face. It even managed to blur the annoying deep wrinkle I have running across the top of my left cheekbone from years of smooshy sleep face! The only complaint I have is that the effect does wear off a bit through the day (mostly on my nose) and I need to reapply at least once throughout the day. This is not a huge concern since most people do powder their nose through the day. It’s just with my dry skin I didn’t usually worry about re-powdering throughout the day so it’s an extra step I’m not accustomed to. I love the pretty compact but there isn’t a great way to carry the product around for reapplications since the sponge is too large to be housed in the compact and there is no “travel” applicator included. At home I have just been keeping the sponge and compact stored in the box they came in. I wanted to show you some pics but given the nature of this product it’s kind of hard to actually see anything! That’s what makes it so perfect though.
If this product has you intrigued as well then I have great news for you. I have an extra one to give away! Simply follow the steps in the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.
