The Reflecting Gloss from Juice Beauty is an organic gloss filled with a wide array of lip nourishing ingredients. Reading the ingredient list I feel comfortable putting a little bit on my daughter when she is anxious to play with mommy’s makeup. I don’t find myself reaching for this gloss though because while completely non-sticky it has a very liquid texture that I find disappears quickly. It is what I consider a “why bother” lip gloss. It is very sheer and other than imparting a bit of subtle shine and shimmer it doesn’t even last long enough with that effect for me to find applying it worthwhile. With all the beneficial oils and ingredients I could treat it more as a lip treatment and apply frequently but I just don’t enjoy the very liquid texture of it. It is quite strongly scented with sweet orange oil and given it’s fluid texture I find myself tasting it too often.
