Top Ten Tuesday Gold Favorites

This week some of your favorite beauty bloggers are sharing their Top Ten Gold products. I don’t have many gold products as I find yellow gold doesn’t compliment my colouring very well. I absolutely adore the look of antique gold though and I’m anxious to go on a shopping spree for some antique gold shades to embrace the antique gold trend for Fall 2013.

Here are some of my most used and loved gold products ranging from white gold, to yellow gold, all the way to the far green extreme of antique gold with Aztec Gold from Fyrinnae. I apologize for the inclusion of so many limited edition products. I need to include them or I never would have found 10!

Gold Eyeshadows:

  • Gold from the Lise Watier Palette India for Summer 2013
  • Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Bold Gold
  • Fyrinnae Book of the Dead Loose Shadow
  • Fyrinnae Aztec Gold Loose Shadow

My beloved:

  • Chanel Poudre Signee de Chanel Illuminating Powder and
  • Chanel Or Rose Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner

More Fyrinnae Pressed Shadows ~ Daemon’s Tail, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Bitey Tyrannosaur, Love Potion ~ Photos, Swatches, Review

Fyrinnae Daemon’s Tail, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Bitey Tyrannosaur, Love Potion

I have some more beautiful Fyrinnae Pressed Eye Shadows to share with you. I have SO MANY new Fyrinnae loose eyeshadows to swatch for you as well but I need to wait for a FULL day of sun to undertake that project!

Fyrinnae Daemon’s Tail, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Bitey Tyrannosaur, Love Potion

Daemon’s Tail A rich combination of light purple and metallic gold. Not purple with gold shimmer, or vice-versa, but a velvety mix of different shades, which adds a soft burgundy hue in as well. Must be seen in person to appreciate. Originally a loose shadow, and brought back as pressed-only in 9/2012. Not as dark as the original, but buildable. No dyes.

Fyrinnae Daemon’s Tail

Rapunzel Had Extensions Pale warm pink with a stunning brilliant light gold highlight. One of our most popular shadows since 2007. New 9/2012.

Fyrinnae Rapunzel Had Extensions

Bitey Tyrannosaur Brilliant lime green. Vibrant green and gold shimmer top a lush green base. Contains no dyes. New 9/2012.

Fyrinnae Bitey Tyrannosaur

Love Potion Medium pink with a highlight of pale silvery-green shimmer (though the overall finish is more satin). Move it closer to light and you get a striking, almost metallic pink-coral.

Fyrinnae Love Potion

Swatches over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.

Fyrinnae Daemon’s Tail, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Bitey Tyrannosaur, Love Potion

I was thoroughly impressed with all four of these shades. Daemon’s Tail is a new favourite and I MUST come up with a way to way Bitey Tyrannosaur more often. It is such a stunning green.

You can find Fyrinnae products on their website.

Fyrinnae Samhain Ethereal Éire Face of the Day

Green again. I know. What is it with me and green lately? I barely even used to own any green eyeshadows let alone wear them on a regular basis. Now I just can’t seem to get enough. As soon as I took the swatch photos of the Fyrinnae Samhian 2012 collection I knew I was going to be wearing Ethereal Éire first. Velveteen Werewolf just seemed to be the perfect match for it. I really love how this look came out. I can see this being another “go to green look” to add to my ever growing list. Please excuse the horrible flat hair!
