Annabelle TwistUp Retractable Lipstick Crayon in Divine ~ Photos, Swatches, Review

One of the items I was most interested in trying after attending the Beauty Unveiling event was the Annabelle TwistUp Lipstick Crayon. No sharpening and waste! The colour selection is lovely and they swatched with a gorgeous glossy finish. As soon as I saw them in Shoppers Drug Mart I picked one up. It was very hard to select just one shade but I didn’t want to go overboard ordering several until I knew I liked the formula. Well looks like I’ll be picking up more because I do indeed like it. A lot.
TwistUp Retractable Lipstick Crayon:
Annabelle reinvents the way we wear lipstick with a high-precision, ultrapractical lipstick crayon. Available in 12 stunning colours, TwistUp provides a hydrating formula that is enriched with rapeseed oil and Shea butter—ingredients widely-known for their restorative properties.

Divine is well pigmented and give a fairly opaque coverage with a nice glossy sheen. These are not very long wearing but they are very comfortable to wear and feel very moisturizing. It is so nice being able to skip lip liner and just line your lips with the tip of the crayon and then lay more flat to apply to the rest of your lips.

I swatched all of the shades when I purchased Divine. Most of the shades are well pigmented. Mai Tai is sheer which is a bonus because while I was attracted to the bright intense coral red I didn’t think I could pull it off. The sheer effect of this shade when swatched ended up putting it to the top of my list.

Absolute, Bubble, Divine, Mai Tai, Mimosa, Tease, Kiss, Flirtini, Fizz, Kinky Pinky, Breeze, Royale

COLOUR! Face of the Day with the New Annabelle Eyeshadow Singles

This is more colour than I am usually comfortable wearing but I just had to test out all my new shades of Annabelle eyeshadow singles. Of course for efficiency I had to test them all out at once! Turns out I wasn’t uncomfortable at all wearing this look. I positively love it! I kept the colour down on my mobile lid and off of my crease so that emphasis wasn’t put on my hooded lids. This made the look much more comfortable for me.

New Annabelle Eye Shadow Singles Review, Swatches, and Face of the Day

I introduced you to one of the five new shades of Annabelle Eye Shadow singles with my coverage of the Annabelle and Marcelle Beauty Unveiling Event. The new shades finally arrived at my local Shoppers Drug Mart and I picked up three more of the new shades. Turquoise, Royalty, and Violish. I am now regretting not picking up the pink one as well. Oh well. Next time! I am including the previously reviewed Goddess in the spirit of completeness.

Such gorgeous, vibrant colours. Just looking at these pictures makes me smile.
Goddess

Turquoise

Royalty

Violist
Turquoise is as incredibly pigmented, smooth, and glorious as Goddess. Royalty is just a touch less pigmented. Violish is a bit more of a muted shade but still has great colour payoff. Violish faded a bit through the day but Goddess, Turquoise, and Royalty remained rich and vibrant on my lids for 12+ hours. I am madly in love with these new offerings from Annabelle. I have a face of the day using them that  I will share with you shortly.
