Dior’s First Ever Pre-Fall Collection 2014 | Dior Timeless Colour Icons | Photos, Swatches, Review

Dior Pre-Fall 2014 1

Dior is releasing it’s first ever Pre-Fall Collection. Inspired by the Eternally Modern, Feminine, Sophisticated, and Iconically Dior Pre-Fall Fashion Collection this collection created exclusively for Holt Renfrew in Canada, and Nordstrom in the US, is stunning to behold.

For the eyes there is an absolutely gorgeous 3 Couleurs Smoky Palette in Smoky Gold ($50 CAD). This is such a beautiful, eye opening palette of gold shades. The base shade is a multifaceted golden ivory.  The soft smoky shade is a lovely golden beige satin that provides definition while still brightening the eye. The warm gold glitter couture smoky shade is so nicely pigmented for a glitter which is a such a pleasant surprise. I love that this gold palette isn’t too yellow. It looks incredibly flattering and I am surprised by how much I have fallen in love with it. It is so pretty on fair skin and I can’t even imagine how stunning it will be on deeper skin tones.

The two new exclusive shades of Fusion Mono ($32 CAD) bring cooler tones to the collection with eye catching, wet effect, complex shimmer in the silver Trompe-L’oeil and blue Rêveuse. Whether you apply them more sheerly with your finger or built up with a sponge or brush these shades will make an elegant statement.

Three new exclusive Dior Vernis ($26 CAD) shades make a classic and flawless statement for nails. Tout Paris is a classic stunning glossy red cream. Night Shock is a deep charcoal with multicoloured hidden shimmer. The peachy golden shimmer of Reflects looks gorgeous worn alone or compliments the other shades in the collection as a transforming, sparkling top coat.

I have mentioned before that the new Rouge Dior ($36 CAD) lipstick formula has quickly become one of my favourites. It is hydrating, glossy, long-wearing, pigmented, and vibrant. They are impeccable. The two new exclusive shades Tout Paris (red) and La Vie (bright pink) are breathtaking.

The new exclusive shade of Diorshow Art Pen Bleu Croisiére ($32 CAD) is the only product in the collection that I wasn’t totally in love with. I do think the colour is unique and pretty with it’s muted tone. I wish it was a bit more pigmented and the fluid formula was prone to bleeding into to lines on my lids. If you have smooth eyelids though, unlike my poor crepey lids, then this won’t be an issue for you.

Another really cool part of the collection is this Dior Nail Artistry Box ($60 CAD). It includes Dior Vernis in Chrome (7ml). Dior Gel Coat (10ml), Swarovski Crystals, Dior Charm Stencils in Clovers and Stars, and a set of mini tweezers.

While I doubt this will come to New Zealand, I *really* need Reveuse in my life. Blue. Sparkle. OMG. *faints*.
