This new line of hair products for curly girls from dippity-do, Girls with Curls, has the cutest ever 1960’s inspired packaging. Just seeing these in my shower brings a smile to my face. The sulfate and paraben free Curl Shampoo (400 ml) is infused with natural Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Aloe and Vitamin E. It lathers nicely gently cleaning hair without damaging it or weighing it down. The Curl Conditioner (400 ml) is paraben free and contains the same curl nourishing ingredients as the shampoo with the addition of wheat proteins to fortify the hair. It helps seal split ends for frizz free curls. The colour safe, paraben free Curl Deep Conditioning Treatment (250 ml) is enriched with an exclusive blend of avocado, jojoba, and borage pols to help nourish and repair hair from within.
For styling the Girls with Curls line is all about soft, touchable curls with the Curl Leave-In Curl Defining Cream (125 ml) and Curl Shaping Gelee (340 g). The Cream is colour safe and paraben free thick balm that tames dry frizzy hair and controls volume and frizz with it’s humidity resistant curls shaping polymers. It contains Sunflower Seed Oil and UV filters to help prolong colour vibrancy. The Gelee is enriched with Aloe and Vitamin E to calm curls and add gloss and shine. It is alcohol and paraben free. My daughter loves that it’s pink! I like to combine both products to style my hair. Both are weightless, non greasy, and leave hair soft with no crunchiness or stickiness.
I am really liking these new products from dippity-do. The fact that we can now find a collection of hair products full of hair healthy natural ingredients instead of just full of silicones and chemicals at such a great price point (starting at $6.99 CAD) makes me a very happy curly girl. You can find the dippity-do Girls with Curls collection at select retail outlets across Canada starting this month (March 2014).
