Clarins Festive and Glamour Holiday Looks

IMG_2614

Clarins Canada has been kind to our wallets and not come out with a collection full of limited edition products to woo us into bankruptcy for the holidays. Rather, they have decided to feature existing, permanent, and beautiful products in their line up that can be used to create a multitude of holiday worthy looks. I have been featuring some of them for you over the past couple weeks. If you visit your local Clarins counter they will be happy to customize a holiday look for you and give you details on how to recreate it. I have decided to show you both the Clarins Festive Red Lips and Glamour Intense Eyes Looks. These looks, with the exception of the lip products, feature the same products. This shows you the versatility you can get from a few key, quality products.

Festive Red Lips look features:

The key to this look is the attention garnering red lips. Red Passion is a very vibrant red with a beautiful glowing finish. The eyes are kept soft with the iridescent pink shade from the Graphites quad all over the lid and the charcoal grey on the outer corner of the eye and blended softly into the crease. The black from the quad is applied over the 3 Dot liquid liner to soften the look. You could also go for a nice winged eyeliner application if that suits your eye shape.

Glamour Intense Eyes look features:

The Glamour Intense Eyes look really amps up the eyes. The grey shade from the Graphites quad is applied all over the lid and into the crease. The black shade is worked into the lash line, outer corner of the eye, and into the crease to intensify the smoky eye. A bit of the sparkling silver is patted over the centre of the lid for a little extra glam. The lips are brightened with the fresh coral pink of Gloss Prodige in Grenadine.

You could also consider the change in eye makeup between these two looks as a day to night transition with the Clarins Mineral Palette in Graphites.

Thank you so much Caitlin! You guys are really helping make my decision to go silver permanently! The colour in these pics is always somewhat temporary just from toning my hair after colouring it. ;)

Stunning – the hair color and makeup look so beautiful together, very sophisticated, polished and oh so pretty! Must know more about the hair color!!1

Thank you easterdawn! I always tone my hair after colouring and the mostly temporary results are quite silver/grey. I have been very tempted to make this colour more permanent and you are certainly making that decision easier. :D

This is the prettiest makeup look I’ve seen on you, and your hair is stunning. Please screw up your nerve to wear this look for Christmas. It’s really stunning and very sophisticated. You’re making me feel happier about my grey hair, too ;)

Thank you Moushka! Now the question is… will I actually be going anywhere this Christmas. ;-)
