Top Ten Tuesdays ~ My Top 10 Beauty Products for Summer

Welcome to Beauty Blogger Top Ten Tuesday!

My Top Ten Beauty Must Haves for summer are:

  1. A Good Sunscreen with broad spectrum protection and a high SPF that won’t leave your skin looking like a greasy mess in the heat. My favourites are Algenist , LaVanilla, and Solar MD Sciences.
  2. A BB Cream with good SPF protection and a decent amount of coverage but look natural and allow for reapplications through the day for days you want a little coverage but not a full face of makeup. My favourites are Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream and the Marcelle BB Cream with SPF 20.
  3. A good waterproof foundation and or concealer for areas you need more coverage. My must haves in this department are the MAKE UP FOR EVER Face & Body Foundation and Full Cover Concealer.
  4. Bronzer to give your face some colour. I don’t let my face get any sun so to give me a healthy glow and look a little more balanced with my “subtly” sunkissed body I need to add a bit of bronzer. I love Benefit Cosmetics Dallas as it has a lot of pink to it to work on my cool skin and doubles as a blush as well.
  5. A bulletproof waterproof eyeliner. I’ve been loving the Rimmel London Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for tightlining my upper waterline. It hasn’t been doing the dreaded transfer to my lower waterline at all!
  6. A sunny coral blush. My favourite is Chanel Joues Contraste in Malice for a natural, healthy glow.
  7. Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat to turn your favourite regular mascaras into waterproof versions.
  8. Setting spray to keep your makeup looking fresh on hot days. My favourite is the Skindinavia setting sprays.
  9. Shimmering, glossy, fun pink and hot coral lip glosses. My favourites are still the Chanel Glossimers for gorgeous shades with sophisticated shimmer!
  10. Eye catching bright nail lacquers for attention grabbing pedicure pretty toes. China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and Pool Party will be sure to garner you compliments wherever you go!

Chanel Malice is one of my FAVORITE blush colors! I adore it. Plus the makeup setting sprays are my life savers in summer. How do you like Chill compared to say De-Slick or All Nighter?

I adore Malice so much! I haven’t tried Chill. I usually just use the Skindinavia versions.

Chanel makes a nail polish called Malice too but it’s wintry. After reading everyone’s favorites it’s easy to see how popular Anastasia Lash Genius is. I’m so glad I finally have this since it has helped me out on the few really hot days we’ve had.

Oh I want that wintery Chanel Malice polish badly. Funny how they used the same name for such polar opposite products! Glad you finally got Lash Genius. It’s a winner!

It’s funny I never tried setting sprays until I bought them for my kit for professional use. Good enough for my clients means good enough for me too!
