Makeup Wars Takes on the Pantone Colour of the Year Emerald Green

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up it seems like the perfect time to jump right into the Emerald Green trend. I have featured quite a few green looks, like my Edgy Emerald look and Etherial Eyre look,  in the past since I had taken a bit of liking towards green late last year. I thought this time around I would play with a more subtle infusion of green in my look rather than the full on green eye looks I tend to prefer.  Using subtle matte shades to define my eye for a basic look I then drew a dramatic wing with a black liner and topped with my Marcelle Lux Metallic Liquid Eyeliner in Jade. A rich, multifaceted, transparent, glittery green liner. This post will also give you a preview to several products I will be reviewing soon!

Burberry Sheer Fresh Glow Primer
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation
Benefit Fake Up Concealer
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light over entire face.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light on centre of face.
Paul & Joe Cheek Color in 06 Mon Ami

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Rouge Bunny Rouge Bashful Flamingo and Chestnut-Napped Apelis
Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner in Perversion
Marcelle Lux Metallic Liquid Eyeliner in Jade

Guerlain Shine Automatique in Flirt

Certainly not one of my most exciting looks but I think this is a fun way to incorporate some green into your look if you are uncomfortable with colour.
