This week for Makeup Wars we are sharing our Valentine’s Day looks. I doubt I’ll actually be going out for Valentine’s Day, old married life for ya, but I thought I would approach this by going for a softer, more romantic look than I usually wear. I was inspired to create a look of all soft pastel pinks and purples to achieve an innocent “girly” look. I paired it with a gently, glossy pink lip which in the pictures made me look pretty washed out. In reality it looked a little more balanced. I decided to make two very minor, easy, and quick updates to the look to switch it up a little and make the look a little more feisty. Let’s say the date is going well. 
I quick swipe of MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Eyes liner in 6L in the waterline to replace the white and a bright pop of colour on the lips courtesy of the amazing Maybelline VIVID Colourburst lipstick in Fuchsia Flash.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Eyes liner in 6L tightlined on upper waterline, upper lash line, and on lower waterline in second look.

Thank you! Boo Boo I think this is the first time I’ve ever tried shades quite like this. I’m surprised by how much I really like the all matte effect and such soft shades. I think it’s time to play with my Inglot palettes more! I urge you to play! Maybe even take some pics of a few looks and see what you like and don’t like about some of them to find one you love.
