I have had the L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara for a while now. I received it at an event back in November. I am a bit of a scrooge with mascara though. Since I know they are only going to be good for a few months I can’t bear the thought of having more than having one, occasionally two, open at the same time. It just feels so wasteful. I know some people have multiple mascaras open at a time. One for volume, one for length, one that’s waterproof, colours, etc. I just can’t do it. I know I need to get over myself! Anyways I finally opened the Telescopic Shocking Extensions to test out and after I applied the first coat to my one eye all I could say was WOW. One coat gave me crazy length. I wasn’t expecting much in the volume department due to the style of brush, and that it is obviously marketed as a lengthening mascara, but I got great volume. It found lashes I didn’t even know I had. It does boast an exclusive 200 bristle brush shape that simulates the eyelid to capture every tiny lash and it lived up to it’s claim of leaving no lash behind. It grabs the right amount of product without having excess gooped all over the brush.

I do prefer one coat over two. I find it starts to get a bit clumpy with two coats but one coat works magic. I did experience some flaking and smudging unfortunately. I am going to continue playing with it to see if maybe I have just been a little harder on my eyes lately without knowing it. When I’m tired I can sometimes unconsciously rub my eyes. I sound like a toddler don’t I? Anyways if all else fails I can just apply a coat of Anastasia Lash Genius on top and I’ll be good as gold.
