Well I have managed to fall in love with another nail polish formula. This time from Lancome. Given that Lancome is part of the L’Oreal group I can see why I am as smitten with this formula as I am with YSL’s. It has a wide brush similar to that of the Yves Saint Laurent La Laque Couture. I am speaking only of my experience with the shade Peach Melodie (a deep orange coral) from the In Love Spring 2013 collection but I am hopefull the rest of the shades are as outstanding. Peach Melodie has a thin yet very pigmented formula. It goes on so beautifully and even given the thin, easy to apply consistency it is still very even after just one coat. Two coats are required for a perfect finish. Dry time is swift and the finish is very glossy. The following swatches are with no top coat.
The Lancome Vernis in Love nail lacquers ($16 CAD) are available now at Lancome.ca.

I like that color a lot! I just got a polish that I thought would be coral and it turned out more red-orange…haha
This one is pretty! Love coral polishes for spring!

Lovely color! Thank you for this review. I haven’t purchased Lancôme N/P in ages and wasn’t sure about the formula.
