Lancome Kohl in Love Eye Pencil in 20 Jade Crush for Spring 2013 ~ Photos, Swatches, and Review

The Jade Crush Kohl in Love Eye Pencil from Lancome for Spring 2013 has got to be one of the most gorgeous teal eye liners, heck make that eye products, that I have ever seen. The intensity, vibrancy, opaqueness, and effect of the shade is remarkable.

The best part is that the beautiful shade you see in the pencil is exactly what translates to your eye.

One swipe of this extraordinarily creamy liner yields full pigment and a solid line. It is soft enough that you can easily pick up pigment with an eyeliner brush for more precise application for a sharp wing and super fine line if desired. This product applies so smoothly and is easy to smudge out if you desire. Regardless of the amazing creamy texture this pencil still sets to a full waterproof and budge proof finish. It even wears well in the waterline for an unexpected pop of colour. Jade Crush from the Lancome In Love Spring Collection for 2013 is truly love for me. I need to check out the blue and chocolate versions of this liner now to see if they are just as exceptional.

In your swatch it looks like it has a lot of blue in it, is a blue-teal or a green-teal?

You and I have very similar complexions so I know what looks great on you will compliment me as well. I think this pencil is gorgeous. However, when I think of green or even teal, this is not the color that comes to mind. This color looks more like a light powder blue. I just don’t see any green in it. Aside from that, this pencil is smooth, creamy, beautifully pigmented, waterproof and amazing. I can’t wait to see more swatches in other colors and I wish Lancome would make more of them in other colors as well

Thanks for a terrific write up and Happy Valentine’s Day.
