Lancome Baume In Love in 110 Urban Ballet for Spring 2013

The new Lancome Baume in Love for Spring 2013 is a super fun new lip product. Urban Ballet is a translucent neon pink that looks like it glows. The formula contains shea butter to moisturize and a protective jelly to seal in moisture and has a high content of light oils to enhance shine.

It give a light hint of pink to the lips with a glossy sheen. It is very lightweight and a joy to apply. At first I thought with such a subtle hint of colour what was the point but turns out I must love it because I have put quite the dent in it already. I love seeing the neon, translucent shade in the tube and it is so easy to apply and feels great on the lips. I use it all day in place of my regular lip balm and it leaves my lips feeling nicely hydrated with a hint of colour that brings a little life to my face when I’m slubbing around the house.

I have this in Urban Ballet and Midnight Roses – I bought the first on a whim and the second because I loved the first. I do wish they had a *bit* more color payoff–there’s sheer and there’s barely visible–but the formula is lovely and I keep one at my desk to swipe on when my lips feel dry and one in my laptop bag for work. I admit I’m using them more than my beloved Fresh lip balms these days, so I guess that says something!

They are just so fun. I love how crazy bright they look in the tube.

It’s not particularly long lasting. A little better than the average lip balm I’d say. I get a couple hours out of it depending what I’m doing.
