Real Techniques Brushes by Samantha Chapman Finally Make it to Canada!

I have exciting news! Real Techniques brushes have finally become available in Canada! I have wanted to try these brushes for so long. You would expect a brush created by Sam of Pixiwoo to be exceptional but at the same time I questioned the quality of a synthetic brush at such a reasonable price point. The brushes have been out for quite some time though now and I see them in use by so many bloggers and vloggers that I trust and respect. They have been available to Canadians through a few internationally shipping etailers but I’d yet to take the plunge because none of them seemed terribly convenient to order from. Well now the amazing folks at FarleyCo Canada have them! They will be announcing Canadian retailers shortly but in the meantime you can order direct from FarleyCo! As of now they are only carrying the sets but if the response is favourable enough they will add the individual brushes. I really hope they do because I want the Expert Face Brush!

Designed with pro makeup artist Samantha Chapman (of Pixiwoo fame), Real Techniques brushes combine high-tech materials with innovative design to make creating a pixel-perfect look easier than ever:

Taklon bristles are ultra plush and smoother than the hair you’ll find in other brushes. Since taklon is synthetic, it’s 100% cruelty-free. The soft fibers help create a flawless, high-definition finish in any type of light – from sunlight to harsh indoor lighting. The color-coded system corresponds to the key steps of makeup application so you can create a flawless base, enhanced eyes, and the perfect finish like a pro. Each brush head is hand-cut to the perfect shape, allowing for precise application from dense coverage to a soft, delicate finish. The collection is suitable for a wide range of products and every makeup need – from powders, creams, and liquids to mineral makeup, highlighter, and shimmer.  Brush names on the handles make for  easy reference when creating your favorite look.

Update: They are now being carried at Walmarts across Canada. Farleyco now has the individual brushes available as well!

These are available at London Drugs for $19.99 (yes, much cheaper) but there does not appear to be a variety other than the 3 sets at this time; hopefully they will have the individual brushes soon. Love these brushes, use and wash them daily for a year now and they’ve held up beautifully as well as retain a softness that is a relief to the skin.

Fantastic! About bloody time … rather a smack in the face to us fellow Commonwealthers who really should have been given this opportunity either before or at the same time as the US! I ordered the Core Kit and the Eye Kit from … very reasonable shipping though I think at the time I ordered mine they had a free shipping special. I hope the individual brushes arrive soon as well, as I, like you, would like to get the Multi-Use brush and the Powder brush! Thank you so much for posting this! ox Care

Yes they are available at Walmart. They should be available at all locations I believe and have been shipped out to them but some have been quicker than others at getting them out on the shelves.
