OPI GoldenEye Nail Lacquer from the Skyfall Collection

OPI GoldenEye from the Skyfall Collection is a really stunning warm orange gold foil that reflects yellow gold. While the foiled effect it beautiful and very festive. At first I was disappointed that the complexity in the bottle is somewhat lost on the nail but, although different than the bottle, the effect on the nail is AMAZING. It is such an intensely blingy, shiny, foiled gold. The strong warm tones make it very unique and it has garnered me a few compliments already. GoldenEye required 3 coats for an opaque finish. It is probably one of the longest wearing nail polishes I have. It has now been three full days and not a chip in site. It is still perfect and on my weak nails that is an impressive feat!

There are a lot of golds out there, but what stands out to me about this one is the gorgeous warm burnt orange tones, sort of beneath the gold. It’s just SO pretty.

Lovely! This is a wow gold! I often times find gold polishes to be so muted, but this has a pop! Love it <3

Hi! It is so nice to see some “real” nails. I follow lots of polish blogs and feel like my nails will never measure up.

Thanks for posting your nails for all of us regular gals and occasional biters out there! Love your blog too!

Love you for taking the time to make this comment! It is practically impossible for me to have “nice” nails so I always question putting up my nail swatches because I don’t want to offend people with the state of my nails so it is so nice to hear someone appreciates it!
