Makeup Wars Fall Look ~ Changing Leaves Inspired

This weeks Makeup Wars Challenge is for our favourite fall look. Fall just happens to be my favourite season. I love the crisp air and sunshine. The beautiful changing leaves bring forth all my most loved colours in nature. Autumn has always been the colour palette that speaks to me the most. My hair isn’t a hint at all is it? ;-)
I wanted to create an eye look that incorporated all the glorious changing leaves around me. I immediately turned to my arsenal of almost 100 Fyrinnae shades to find the perfect representations of the fiery fall leaves (and the not yet changed).
Fyrinnae Pyromantic Erotica, Red Panda, Candy Coated, and Dark Fantasy
Edward Bess Escape, Chanel Malice, LMdB Uma Paro
Looking at these colours just makes me love fall even more!

This is a beautiful fall look. Great use of colour. :) By the way, I’m all giddy you chose to use Too Chic, as it’s my favourite highlight powder. :)

  9. Mine too BooBooNinja! I got it and Play it Proper when they first came out and they are two of only like 5 highlighters I own. I don’t need more because I love them so much! Perfection!

  10. Great look, I think you won!!

  11. BooBooNinja says:

I even got a backup of Too Chic from a blog sale. I really mulled over that purchase, as: 1) I am trying to keep my stash small and manageable; 2) I thought MAC might repromote it; and 3) I’d fall in love with something else down the road. However, I got Too Chic on the repromote (Iris Apfel) so it’s unlikely it’ll be rereleased. There’s something great about not having to go through the future fuss (& unnecessary temptation) of a replacement highlighter.

I did consider Play It Proper, but Too Chic is perfection for me. :)

  12. BooBooNinja says:

ps What are your other 3 highlighters?

  15. Stunning colour palette, the shades look amazing on you!

  16. Wow, this really looks amazing! I’m always in awe of your eye looks. You’re such an artist!

  17. OMG! That application is FLAWLESS!!! You really area great artist when it comes to eye looks and overall looks. I want you to do my makeup every morning! Can you move to VA and live with me please? LOL. But seriously. Those shades look great on you!

  18. And after you finish up in VA every morning, can you teleport to OKC and take care of my daily look? This look is sincerely gorgeous.

  19. Thank you so so much everyone! You have all been so kind! I’m really glad you liked it! xoxo

  20. Ezen says:

    Definitely pretty and fall-appropriate! :)

Now the big challenge is how do I translate the look on monolids…

  21. Thanks Ezen! I would suggest maybe skipping the band of crease colour and just blending the gradation in well at the top. It would be a little more dramatic on you since you wouldn’t be “hiding” the beautiful colours as much as my hooded lids do. ;-)

  22. SO PRETTY! I love the shadow colors!
