I have been holding out on you for far too long. My MAKE UP FOR EVER order arrived a couple of weeks ago and the gorgeous Black Tango Waterproof Cream Color Palette deserves showcasing.

Our high performance Aqua Cream shadows are now available in rich shades of black with red, green and blue jewel tones, as well as ivory for highlighting. The colors are reminiscent of the artistic elegance and femininity of Argentine Tango dancers. The sleek, lace embellished palette is equipped with airtight flip-top caps to keep each Aqua Cream fresh, along with a mirror and a double-ended, flat, nylon bristle brush for easy application. Just like our existing Aqua Cream range, the new shades are completely smudge-proof for a dramatic look that lasts, no matter the occasion.
The packaging is absolutely stunning. I am so in love with the glossy red and black lace compact.
Inside the palette each shade of Aqua Cream is sealed air tight in it’s own individual pot. Such a necessary yet often overlooked feature for a palette of cream palettes. I am so glad MAKE UP FOR EVER was thoughtful enough to do this as I am confident I will get as long a life out of these intense Aqua Creams as I will the standard pot releases.
The colour coordinating colour caps lift up to reveal the shimmering, intense creams inside. They are sealed very tight as I found opening some of them quite difficult.
The shades include Black with Red Reflections, Black with Green Reflections, Black with Blue Reflections, and Ivory.
Included is a truly excellent quality dual ended brush for application of the Aqua Creams.
The red, green, and blue shades have a more refined, subtle shimmer while the Ivory is quite intensely frosted. They apply amazingly well. Pigmentation is excellent and coverage is even. They also blend out really easily. I am very, very impressed. MAKE UP FOR EVER is truly after my heart these days.
The Black Tango Palette retails for $50 and is available at Sephora and MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutiques. I will try to get a look up for you as soon as I can.

I have been eyeing this for some time. I love the pigmentation on the swatches especially that black with red. I will definitely look into this. MUFE is my go to for liners, I’m a big fan of the aqua liners.
