butter LONDON Trustafarian from Autumn/Winter 2012 ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

butter LONDON recently had a 30% off promo and I decided to pick up the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection set. I am so happy I decided to get the full set. Every one of these polishes is gorgeous and unique.
Trustafarian is a gorgeous light sage green holo. I know some have expressed difficulties with the shade of green on their skintone but I am loving it on mine. It applied perfectly! I have issues with holos in the past but one coat of this even offered a very even application. Two coats brings full opacity. It has wore absurdly long on my short, soft, bendy, sad nails. I usually don’t bother commenting on wear time of polishes in my reviews because NOTHING lasts on my nails well past a day but I think I am on day 4 right now with only one small chip and minimal tip wear. Phenomenal performance on my nails.

I’m still really tempted by this shade. I know some people say it takes some layering up to achieve opacity, but my nails are rather short (like yours) so I’m hoping it won’t require 4 coats or something :)

  2. These pics are only two coats Sunny. I had no issues at all.

What did you use for base and top coats?

  4. I used Seche Rebuild as base and Poshe as topcoat. This holo is shiny without a topcoat though.

  5. When I saw this in the bottle I wasn’t impressed. As soon as I put it on I never wanted to take it off. It’s a beautiful color.
