NARS Outlaw Blush from the Fall 2012 Color Collection ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

NARS describes Outlaw as a soft rose tone with golden shimmer. I think to most people they will see bold rather than soft when they look at Outlaw in the pan. The application however can be quite soft with a light hand. It is easy to apply a light flush to your cheeks using a stippling brush or build with a standard blush brush to achieve the intensity in the pan. I am really, really loving Outlaw because it seems to perfectly match my natural flush. With the added benefit of a subtle golden glow of course.
I find Outlaw to be a gorgeous shade. NARS really does know how to create beautiful colours. I am starting to regret parting with the only two NARS blushes I owned previously; Sin and Amour.
I purchased this online from NARS.

  1. Glad you like this one! I had it applied to my cheeks with the Nars Yachiyo brush, which yielded LOTS of pigment very quickly. Using my usual, fluffier, brushes, I find it more sheer. I do really love the fact that both the base colour and the sheen from this one seem to last on me. And thanks for reminding me that I need to pick up Sin, which has been on my wish list forever!

I got this a fortnight ago and I love it! Beautiful colour ;o)

  3. Wow that is insanely gorgeous. Based on other swatches I had seen online, this shade didn’t really appeal to me for some reason. But it looks so much softer and prettier in your photos :P I think I’ll go swatch that this weekend and see how it looks on me

  4. Coco says:

Wow..this is nice. Hm….it reminds me of Rose Initial from Chanel

  5. Coco I don’t find them similar at all. I will try to get a comparison pic up for you!

  6. Looks like a lovely pink shade. Thanks for the gorgeous photos, you do such a great job!
