Essie Penny Talk Mirror Metallics Collection Fall 2012 ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

I wish I could have captured the subtle rose tones visible to my naked eye in Penny Talk. The mirrored finish has almost a satin quality that is making it impossible for me to stop staring at my nails. I didn’t bother with bottle shots of Penny Talk because the colour in the bottle is much more gold toned than the end result on the nails and also doesn’t reflect the finish accurately. I am so glad I still picked this up after my lack of enthusiasm when I saw the bottle in person at Shoppers Drug Mart. I knew going in I had to have it and I’m glad I stuck with that intention because I AM IN LOVE!

Ooh very pretty. I like it a lot. I’ve been on a nail kick but haven’t succumbed to these Essie’s (yet!). I do like it better on your nails than in the bottle so that’s interesting.

I just received this! I definitely agree with you about the outward bottle appearance versus the inner appearance. When I first saw the bottle, I freaked a little and thought I had a bad bottle that was way too gold! Luckily it is pure copper goodness on the inside.

No joke, I have shoes that match this, INCLUDING the rosey-undertones… now I know what to use me $2 off Essie coupon for!
