Rouge Bunny Rouge Glassy Gloss ~ 79 Rahat Lokum, 80 Raspberry Meringue, 82 Mousse Fandango ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

I first tempted you with the 5 new glorious pink shades of Rouge Bunny Rouge Glassy Gloss with my my post covering their release. I now have 3 of these beauties to share with you.
  • 79 Rahat Lokum – Pale milky pink with medium-heavy mother of pearl effect micro-shimmer
  • 80 Raspberry Meringue – Pale pink with very soft mother of pearl micro-shimmer – this shade doesn’t yield a strong colour, but it makes lips naturally pretty
  • 82 Mousse Fandango – Dark tone of milky pink with barest whispers of grayish mauve and touch of silver micro pearls

This line of glosses is an exceptionally tempting interpretation of the ambrosial table of sweets in the Enchanted Garden. Naughty, but oh-so-nice!Think of lusciously ripe fruit dipped in the shiniest of honeys. Your lips will be optically plumped to a mouth-watering fullness and a lavish dream-star shine. Irresistible. Like a scrumptious dessert that cheers you to the bones just by inhaling it, these glassy glosses radiate spicy sweetness and utter intoxicating decadence. All of these candy drops of colour are heaped with exotic ingredients, and some abound with minute pearlised particles to sparkle your lips with glittering bejewelled effects. People will gaze at you with shiny-eyed infatuation, longing that you will possibly get…a…little…bit…closer. Ultra glossy finish with a soothing and protective blend of Paper Birch Extract and Woodland Figwort speaks of the wild freshness, naturally. Anti oxidant and anti ageing, our formula also contains Cotton Tree Fruit Extract to hydrate and revitalise.

The shades Rahat Lokum and Raspberry Meringue are quite sheer while Mousse Fandango offers a bit more pigment. While sheer they do not lack colour or effect. The colour is noticeable and the refined shimmer makes your lips oh so shiny but not at all glittery. They are almost completely non sticky and very cushy and moisturizing on the lips. I do feel like my lips are benefiting from the luscious ingredients these glosses contain. I love putting these on top of a lipstick as well focusing on the centre of the lips. They are the perfect amount of micro-shimmer to give your lips that extra little bit of sexy pout.

These look so inviting! I don’t wear gloss very often but I do like the RBR gloss formulas so I can be tempted out of my lipstick rut 😉

I think Rahat Lokum is my favourite from your swatches x

I haven’t given into the temptation to order an RBR gloss yet, although these (especially Mousse Fandango) look beautiful. I love the effect on your lips, I’m just trying to figure out if they’re different enough from other light pink glosses I have. I’m trying not to duplicate…

Ha! Didin’t you know that was my sole mission Replica!

Jane Rahat Lokum is definitely the most unique to my collection. I had never managed to find an icy pink like that that I actually liked.

Kate I love that these didn’t duplicate anything for me! I seem to have mostly warmer pinks so I’m excited to finally have some cooler shades that are so lovely.

Becca if you have not tried RBR yet then you are SERIOUSLY missing out. You will not be sorry!

Christa, I just went to post my RBR Scrumptiously Devious & Cherry Clafoutis review on the BBC weekly roundup and saw that you had posted this. I’m so sorry– I would have waited to post mine until next week had I known! At least it wasn’t any of the same colors– I guess they will get a little extra RBR reading this week! 🙂

Oh wow, the sparkle on those glosses are just beautiful… not obnoxiously glittery but just enough to get someone to say WOW! RBR has done it again 🙂
