Giorgio Armani Acqua Collection Eyes to Kill Eyeshadows in 25 Rusted Gold and 28 Red Platine ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

Giorgio Armani Beauty has released an Eyes to Kill Acqua Collection featuring a new Steel Black Eyes to Kill Waterproof mascara, two new shades of Eyes to Kill Waterproof eye liner, and 6 new shades of Eyes to Kill Intense Eye Shadow. All limited edition I made the incredibly difficult and heart wrenching decision of narrowing down my order to two of the new ETK eye shadows in 25 and 28. My decision was made possible thanks to the beautiful swatches on The Beauty Look Book, Messy Wands, and Mostly Sunny

Just in time for Summer, try these waterproof, 24-hour wear eyeshadows, now available in six limited edition new shades: #24-#29. Eyes To Kill Intense unveils a pearl blend that radiates four spellbinding colours. Each of the Eyes to Kill Intense shades is based on a revolutionary technology that acts like a kaleidoscope, producing multidimensional colours. Neither a cream nor a powder, this incredible hybrid formula acts like a colour suspension that delivers a dreamy, ethereal beauty to eyes with a 24 hour hold.

Is your mind blown yet? Ohh but wait until you see the swatches…

Here are the shadows applied and blended with my finger and no base. The Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eye Shadow formula is a dream to work with. Pigmented, creamy smooth powder cream hybrid, no fall out, and lasts all day with no smudging. What more could you ask for? The shades offer such nuanced and dimensional colour that even wore alone they are full of personality.

Bottom line… boundless and endless love. I am going to have a hard time not ordering more of these limited edition shades.

These retail for $32US/$42CAN. I purchased these from Neiman Marcus online. They can also be found at NordstromBloomingdalesSaksHolt Renfew, and of course the Giorgio Armani Beauty website.

I picked up Red Platine last week and am definitely planning on more. I was thinking about #25 as well, but I thought it might be too close to Abyssinian Catbird, which I just recently bought.

Sorry Kate…not similar at all! You’ll have to come up with another reason to rule it out. 😉

Lovely! I especially like Rusted Gold! Seems like such a unique color. Perhaps if I pack gold glitter on a black base it would kill my lemming for this gorgeous color? I doubt it! Pout.

They are so pretty and both look great on you. I keep losing track with how many of these shadows they have released now, clearly they are very popular 🙂

I had never really *craved* these…until I saw swatches of the new #27. It’s soooo so pretty! I think it may just be my first ETK purchase!

I just bought #25 and haven’t had time to photograph it or use it. It just begged to come home with me. I wanted others and still may get them. You made 28 look quite inviting.

p.s. I don’t think 25 is like Abysinnian Catbird. It’s darker and more shimmery.

So now I need to get #25… And possibly #s 24 and 27 as well, since those were very beautiful…
