Hello Yellow! Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream #24 Yellow ~ Swatches, Photos, Review

Make Up For Ever just released four new shades of it’s Waterproof Cream Colour product Aqua Cream. If you are unfamiliar with this incredible budge proof product then read on:
Aqua Cream is a completely smudge-proof, tear-proof, waterproof cream color that won’t crease, run or transfer. It gives intense payoff with a highly pigmented formula that ensures the colorful, pearly hues show up on skin while the soft, silky texture allows it to glide effortlessly onto eyelids, cheeks and lips. The formula includes evaporating oils to help fix the pigments on skin for impeccable hold, and a special filmogen polymer that encapsulates the pigments to keep moisture out and render them waterproof.
Available in 25 shades, Aqua Cream can be applied individually or mixed together to create an infinite number of eye-catching hues. Thanks to its creamy formula, each color can be blended and applied easily with either the finger tips or a brush. Aqua Cream can be used alone or layered with powder eye shadow, blush or lip gloss for added intensity.
I fell in love with this cream shadow after seeing it demonstrated at a Pro Artistry Day that Make Up for Ever held in Toronto back in May. Yes I know the original shades have been around since 2010. Call me slow but without a Sephora nearby I had never gone about exploring the product. I realize I have a lot of catching up to do!
The four new shades released are #23 Acid Green, #24 Yellow, #25 Pastel Blue, and #26 Purple. I have #24 Yellow to share with you today and boy is it yellow! It has a very fine subtle shimmer throughout and the colour payoff is phenomenal and it lasts and lasts and lasts. I can’t wait to come up with a look to try this out with.
The four new shades were used in the Circus Theme look for the Synchro Canada team. Maybe I should try and recreate this look for you? 😉
Make Up For Ever is available at Sephora. The Aqua Creams retail for $26 each.

I absolutely want to see you sporting this look. But it has to be visibly outside, in public- in a mall or a park or something. 😀

Ha! Sure Kate sure! Too bad today is my daughter’s last day of school. I could have got her off the bus wearing it. 😉 Stay tuned. You will see me recreate it!

we have two Sephoras here in Ottawa but as I’m on no-buy, I haven’t been near them since February. Aqua creams are great though and I like the look of the new shades. I may go in to see them in person…

Thank you for your great swatches 🙂
