Hello my pretties! I just wanted to check in with all of my fabulous readers to ask what you would most like to see on Perilously Pale. I have been considering venturing into You Tube and wondered if any of you would have any interest in seeing me on there. If so, what kind of videos would you like to see me do?
As far as blog posts go is there anything in particular you would like to see that I haven’t done? Or something I have done that you would like to see covered more?
There is one thing I already know and that is foundation swatches! I am appalled at the fact that I started this blog a little over a year ago and haven’t done any reviews or swatches of foundations! That is absolutely inexcusable of me! I mean I am supposed to be here not only to share my beauty obsessions with my fellow beauty addicts but also to try and cater a little more to the pale folk. How could I possibly neglect something so important! Well there is one main reason. I generally don’t have more than one bottle of foundation on the go. It is very hard for me to find something I like not only because of lack of shade options out there but because I am VERY picky with foundations. I do not want to see them on my skin! BUT that said I should at the very least cover the foundations that I do love. Just because I don’t have a huge arsenal of foundations on the go doesn’t mean I should ignore the ones I do use.
So boring post I know but I just wanted to connect with you and see what you want. YOU are who I do this for. I LOVE every comment you all take the time to leave. I know how hard it is to take the time each day to not only check all the blogs we love but also to comment and connect with the authors. I think this may actually be my first comment as I tend to be much more of blog lurker.
Yes, yes, yes, to the foundation posts, the more the better, but I’ll take any that I can get. Most of the people I follow who regularly review foundations are very differently complected than I and paler foundations are always a bit harder to come by. (I’m using Smashbox Studio Skin shade 1.1 at the moment).
As for Youtube, I’m ambivalent. There area really only two bloggers whose videos I consistently watch. Though if you want to do more in the way of tutorials (I do love tutorials), I’d like to see those as videos.
Yes to youtube! Tutorials, haul posts, reviews, show us your stash. Hope to see you on there.
I’d absolutely love to see foundations reviews – I’d love to hear the opinion of someone who is actually picky!
It’s also always great to see comparison swatches when you review a product – I know I’m guilty of not doing them but I always find them helpful when I see them!
I’m always a little iffy about videos (ok, being honest, I never really started watching them because I would so often be browsing beauty sites from the office, where videos are tricky), but I’d certainly check them out.
Yes you should do you tube.You can do whats in my purse,collection video,monthly favourites,tutorials etc.
You should do whatever interests you. And whatever it is, I’ll be reading it. Videos, articles, FOTD, tutorials, reviews … all good.
That said, I am surprised no one requested your cans.
