Giorgio Armani Summer 2012 Bronze Color Face Palette ~ Swatches, Pics, Review

One of my favourite items from the Armani Summer 2012 Bronze Color Collection is the limited edition Bronze Color Face Palette. Again the use of bronze in the name but no bronze to be found? That is fine with me though because this beautiful rose pink and white are perfect for my pale cool complexion. Both shades offer the same gorgeous, refined shimmer/sheen. There is no visible glitter, only a beautiful glow. I love that I can have my blush and highlight in one compact. On my fair skin the white side works beautifully as a highlighter. I can see maybe on deeper skin tones it could look ashy but it’s perfect for me. It is such a lovely fine milled powder that I can see many skin tones being able to work with this shade regardless of how harsh you may think white would be to work with. The pink side offers a sheer wash of colour that can be built up as you need it for either a subtle flush of colour or a stronger cheek. If you wanted to go very subtle you could swirl the two shades together but I prefer to use them individually.

The ultra-fine powders of the Face Palette with Giorgio Armani’s Micro-Fil™ Technology come in a complementary duo of shades, ‘Seashell Pink’ and ‘White Foam’. Cheeks are warmed with a sun-kissed flush.

First up are swatches of each side of the palette individually. As always you can click to enlarge:

Here the individual swatches are shown again and on the right both shades blended together and applied with a brush for a very subtle flush.
I purchased this at Neiman Marcus. It can also be found at Barneys, Bloomingdales,  Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Holt Renfew, and of course the Armani Beauty website.

This is so gorgeous! I had originally passed on this one because I thought that the white might be a little too white–but it looks perfect in your photos! I NEED this!

I do love the color in this duo but there’s probably a few too many red undertones to suit my skin. The highlighter is gorgeous too 🙂
