Face of The Day with the Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Capri Quad

Here is the second look I attempted with Guerlain Capri. The first was a total fail. The charcoal brown is much to intense to use in my crease and looked very dirty. This look is better but I think I must admit this palette just doesn’t work with my colouring and it needs a new home.

Aw this looks lovely – I really want it but since am cool toned with blonde hair maybe it wouldn’t suit me either!!! It hasn’t been released in europe yet.

  3. It looks beautiful with your hair color and coordinates so nicely with the lip and blush shades you chose! I have been so tempted by this collection, but haven’t picked up anything – yet! :)

  4. What a pretty look on you!! You did a great job on your eyes…they look so blue! A lot of times with pinks, eyes end up looking like you’ve been crying, but yours are as bright and clear as can be. The lip color is stunning on you, too.

I’m loving the more vivid, deeper red hair on you, by the way. I had mine a similar color for years, and it was so much fun!!

  5. I think it looks lovely on you as well! Your eyes look so blue and it goes do well with your hair too!

  6. This is just beautiful. I love the coordination of the pink-coral tones with the new auburn hair (which is lovely). It’s so tropical and summery! Yup, you’ve definitely convinced me I need this!!!

  7. A perfect summer look. Guerlain’s national MUA, Chuck H, showed me to mix the black/brown with orange by sweeping the brush across the two colors, making it softer. It’s all on my blog in case you want to peek. I might experiment with this look myself :)

it looks great on you. I am loving this palette so much lately, I am very glad I got it (eventhough I thought the orange shade might look off) <3

  9. Thanks everyone! Maybe I should give it more of a shot. If it weren’t for my hair I could never pull it off in a million years!

Emilie I may try playing around more that way. I didn’t pick up the two colours at the same time on the brush but I did try to blend out the brown with the orange and it just looked dirty on me. Maybe Chuck’s way will look better!

I absolutely adore the lip color! Fantastic on your skin tone :)

  11. Michelle says:

Aww! I think it looks great on you, I can’t pull this off like you’ve done and that’s why I skipped it. xo

  12. Joolz says:

These colors work so well for you, they have a brightening effect! The more I see this palette, the more I want it!

  13. Replica says:

I think the colours really bring out your eyes. I know I would really struggle with these colours on my complexion but I think you wear it well. I love the lip colour :)

  14. I adore this look but agree it’s not the most versatile and wouldn’t pull its weight in your stash.

  15. Thanks Kate. That’s kind of what I was thinking. Lots of other looks that would be way better on me which means i wouldn’t reach for it often. On a darker skin tone I can see it looking phenomenal though.

Pink and orange combos go well together. I like the blending, the make up look complements your hair color.
