A-england describes Lady of the Lake as a dusky purple with rainbow glimmer and glow. This is a perfect description. It is a deep grey leaning purple but can look more strongly purple depending on the light. When the sun hits it the rainbow holo shows it’s pretty face. It is so beautiful yet understated at the same time. Application of this is a dream. Opaque in two coats and consistency is perfect. I also find the a-england polishes to be very fast drying and long lasting.
When the clouds roll over it is still well lit outside but the lack of direct sun makes the holographic shimmer look flat and colourless. Still a beautiful polish but the rainbow effect disappears. This is also how it will appear indoors without direct lighting on it.
I’ve adored every a-england polish I’ve tried. I find this to be a brand with exceptional quality and beautifully unique colours. I purchased my polishes directly from a-england but I know they can now be ordered in Canada from Nail Polish Canada.

I agree with you about the quality of A England. Not only are the colors gorgeous, but they go on like a dream and they last exceptionally well. I want Lady of the Lake for sure now.
