THIS is AWESOME! I have BIker Chic and now I know what to do with it! GORGEOUS!!
Thanks Tracy! Biker Chic is just a small part of a bigger picture but I used it layered over some of the other shadows to add a bit of navy sparkle effect. I also used it wet to line.
Love your photos. You need to have a different title to your post! How about? Beautiful Taylor Swift Face of the Day! Or, Gorgeous Taylor Swift FOTD. I’ve already RT. xo
Thanks Moxie! Maybe I should change it. LOL I do think the look turned out nicely. Just didn’t make me look like Taylor Swift! Darnit!
Sad attempt? You look amazing! You could do a YouTube tutorial on this, and I’d watch.
What a gorgeous look! I adore this color combination on your skin tone and in complement to your eye color! Fantastic!
I can’t imagine why you thought this was a “sad attempt”. You look beautiful and sexy. I love the colours you used here. FYI, I think we have the same hair colour now…
I think you did a fantastic gradient/blending job and the shape is perfect too! Mine almost always turn out asymmetrical
Well, to be fair, you and Taylor are completely different colors! lol. But you look absolutely stunning in your own right. I don’t think I have seen your do a prettier eye. Really really stupendous! I’d let you do my eyes in those colors–lord knows I could never do that myself–I’d end up with color blocked lids!
Thank you everyone! Maybe I’ll have to try more eye looks like this. It was certainly fun!
Kate it’s the I’ve put my hair through hell and back look huh! I actually died it back copper blond so it looks a bit better than the even lighter peachy blonde thing I had going on. I figured after what I’d already tried there was no way the red was going to come out. I still find myself wanting to try though!
Fail? What fail?! I think you did an amazing job PLUS your eyes look spectacular… I need to try this out too now, lol! Love the lashes, by the way and I understand what you mean about the glue; I think my eyes reacted to it as well as my lashes started looking a little sparse. I’ve taken a bit of a sabbatical from using lashes with the Ardell glue, and thankfully they’ve rebounded — I will definitely be using only the Duo from now on, as it doesn’t contain formaldehyde – the culprit behind the irritation. Gorgeous look !
you did a GREAT job! seriously!
Never used false lashes– oh my! Welcome to the fray! Tip– using a q-tip to help tamp the end of the lash strip down at the corner during placement helps. Also, while some prefer to glue on lashes after their eye makeup is on, I’ve always thought falsies adhere better to a bare eye… then, you just have to be careful while applying liner.
Peace, Mari
You look gorgeous! I love this look on you, and I love the colors you chose for the shadow. They look amazing on your fair skin (making note to self for future fair skinned clients). Love it!
Just an observation re: the Taylor Swift look of the day–the blue color of her eye shadow is only in the outer corner of the eye.
I love the blue colors you used!!
WOW- you look absolutely gorgeous! What a polished look– neither Taylor Swift, nor her makeup artist have anything on you! There is NOTHING sad about your attempt! Not really an attempt either since you really BRING IT!
I LOVE the eyeshadow on you!
So pretty!! Love the eye look and and that lip shade goes very nicely with it
Hey it look good!!!
If that’s your fail, I can’t imagine what your win is. That’s gorgeous!
You look great! Love the colors for your skin tone. Success!
