Face of the Day with Rouge Bunny Rouge Delicate Hummingbird and Bejewelled Skylark

I watched a video on YouTube yesterday from Makeup Never Sleeps that mentioned she wanted to see what happened when combining Rouge Bunny Rouge Delicate Hummingbird, that she’d just received, with Bejewelled Skylark. Well of course I had to try it for myself! Not too shabby.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Delicate Hummingbird all over lid and crease. Bejewelled Skylark outer v into crease. Combined on lower lashline.
MAC Shroom eye shadow on browbone & inner corner

This just makes me that much more determined to get both these shades. Actually, I was curious about the Edward Bess lipsticks as well. That colour looks lovely too. Beautiful look!

Kate I do like the EB lipstick formula (I think I have 4). My fave though is Rouge d’Armani.

    Anytime Rachel. πŸ˜‰

Mercedes I have the EB Bronzer. It’s fabulous! The cream highlighter is amazing as well.

Tracy Zuneta is fabulous for us Canadians!

    Thanks Ruqaiya!

This post and the Zuneta sale might just push me over the edge. You have a flawless blending technique. Your eyes are always stunning. I’d love to see a video and know what tools you use.

    Thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks! I have thought of doing videos before but I think it would be horrifying for people! LOL. A little harder to get the right angle on a video πŸ˜‰

I have been waiting for MONTHS to be able to order Delicate Hummingbird. It is never in stock on Zuneta. Is this item still available?

It was in stock when I first posted about the sale. I think almost everything was! But it has all been selling out quickly.

I must have just missed that. I have checked weekly for two months. Can you go on a notification waiting list? I couldn’t find anything about that.

Wow, that’s so pretty. I guess I’ve got a new combo to try too. You do a great job blending.

Have you tried Marcelle mascara? I’m totally in love with it! It made my end of 2011 top list. I know they are sister companies.

I’m not sure Suselew. Maybe email them and ask them if they can let you know? You used to be able to “backorder” out of stock items but now they just disappear.

Thanks Marcia! I haven’t tried Marcelle mascara yet. I’ve been bad so far and ignored by Canadian brands. Stupid me!

Thanks. That shade won’t be available for until Feb at the earliest. I did ask to be notified. What is your next favorite eyeshadow shade by RBR after DH? I would also like your recommendation on a RBR highlighter. I think we have similar complexion. I already have Becca’s Skin Perfector in Pearl. What do you think of Sea of Showers?

I’ve only tried Sea of Tranquility and Sea of Nectar. I think all the shades are beautiful though and can work with any skintone depending on what look your going for. If Sea of Nectar worked for me than Sea of Showers should work for you too no problem. If you love liquid highlighters than these are fabulous. I’m pretty useless with them myself! LOL
I think most of the eyeshadows I own are out of stock but I really don’t think any of them could disappoint you. Whatever colour is calling your name then go for it! If you like green then I do have Whispering Ibis and it’s amazing!

Does Sea of Tranquility make that face even more pink? I don’t have a pink-based highlighter. I have ELauder Modern Mercury Gelee highlighter and it’s a bit too copper for me. The Chanel LE one from last year is great but colorless. I’d like to glow but not twinkle!

It’s a very subtle amount of pink. Sort of like mother of pearl opalescence. If you don’t have a pink toned highlighter that might be a nice option. I reviewed it here: http://www.perilouslypale.com/2011/07/rouge-bunny-rouge-sea-of-tranquility.html

This is an absolutely stunning look. I may just have to recreate this. I have most everything you used πŸ˜€
