I’d mentioned yesterday in my review of Whispering Ibis that my adoration for the Rouge Bunny Rouge eye shadow formula was encouraging me to break out of my comfort zone and try some new colours and Mysterious Tinamou was my most jarring departure from my norm. Described as an Iridescent, bejewelled deep-sea blue, reminiscent of a wild duck’s plumage Mysterious Tinamou is no shy bird! Immediately after ordering it I had second thoughts and wondered what the heck I’d been thinking. If Zuneta wasn’t so darn quick at shipping out orders I probably would have cancelled it and changed it for Periwinkle Cardinal but I am so happy I ordered it.

You look amazing with smokey eyes! Love this one on you almost as much as the green one. I think I need some more RBR in my life, but my next Zuneta haul will have to wait until next year maybe. That seems so far away..

Wow! It looks so much stronger on your eye than in the swatch. Did you use a base under the Tinamou or just build it up a lot? Thanks!

It is much more intense over a primer/base. I use MAC Painterly paint pot under everything and always pack my lid colours on with the MAC 239 rather than lightly applying with fluffier brush. I like intense pigment on my lid
