Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-Lasting Eye Shadow in Whispering Ibis – Swatches & Review

I haven’t really any greens in my collection aside from several very blackened greens. Whispering Ibis is a gorgeous shade of green that I don’t believe I’ve really seen many dupes of before. Mind you I don’t tend to pay a whole lot of attention to green eyeshadows but my adoration for the Rouge Bunny Rouge eyeshadow formula is causing me to branch out in many new directions.

Rouge Bunny Rouge describes the colour as Lovely, rich iridescent fern-green, shimmering with gold pearls. Who could resist that description?! Their representation of the colour was extremely accurate as I’ve come to expect from Rouge Bunny Rouge.

I know I’ve posted this fairytale story behind the eyeshadows before but I just had to share it again:

The firefly festival is eagerly awaited all year in the Enchanted Garden. For then on this very special day, the best voices of the bird-world feed on tiny fireworks to embellish their voices and then gather to perform a single concert together. Their jubilant musical notes are inscribed in a syrup of figs and milk and preserved in tiny pots to be enjoyed all year round. Like this golden froth of musical syrup, WHEN BIRDS ARE SINGING… eye shadows are a time defying exotic enigma. This is plumage to adorn you in shades as deliciously mellow as soft silence that flows, or as brilliantly potent as jewelled notes. So addictive are these morsels that you’ll be causing your own kaleidoscopic ripples every time you wear them.

Discover a new powder eye shadow with an astonishing lightweight, creamy touch and unprecedented adherence. This formula creates pure dynamic iridescence while it maintains second skin effect. It has extended 8-hour wear that will stay perfect and look freshly applied all day. Orange-derived Flavonoid improves blood microcirculation, enhances luminosity and serves as free radicals scavenger.

Not only do these eyeshadows offer incredible shades, pigmentation and a creamy smooth, blendable texture but they are also infused with flavanoids to offer a skincare benefit as well.
Here is just a quick pic I took with my phone last week to post on Twitter of an amazing intense smokey eye using Whispering Ibis and Volcano Fairy-Wren (review to come). Sorry for the poor quality. Since my daughter started school I’ve been too rushed to take FoTD pics.
I purchased this, as I do all my Rouge Bunny Rouge delights, from Zuneta. They offering international shipping (free with qualifying purchase amount) and amazing customer service and selection.

What a beautiful color and EoTD! And so pigmented. I suppose I should not be surprised. RBR shadows are among the most pigmented on earth.

Very pretty and you did a beautiful eye look with it!!!
I doubt there’s any RBR eyeshadow that I didn’t want as soon as I layed my eyes on it and this is no exception!!!

Very beautiful. I love Rouge Bunny Rouge too (as you know) and it’s fabulous that you can trust in a brand so much when buying online, unseen. You’re tempting to branch out colourwise too!

I don’t see either shade on Zuneta right now. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place?

Suselew you’re looking in the right place. They are just out of stock right now. I contacted them about it today and they should be back in stock soon. I have no idea why they are disappearing from the website completely when out of stock now. It used to be you could still order stuff on backorder. I’m going to inquire about it again.

That is gorgeous. I’m suddenly loving certain greens. I guess my next order from Zuneta will include this shadow!
