Wow, your eyebrows look great either way! I have quite big eyebrows and they’re both extremely unsymmetrical so are a nightmare haha I usually just cover one with my fringe! xxx
Thanks Daisy! It’s pretty darn impossible to “draw” mine in symmetrically every day let me tell you! Maybe you could find someone who could shape them symmetrically for you? If you have a lot to work with there should be lots of room to fix them to match
This is a GREAT post. My brows have all but disappeared after I had babies, so I have to fill them in with the DiorShow Brow Styler every morning. Such a pain, but worth it.. makes a huge difference!!!
It’s so hard to find a tech that doesn’t scalp me, I finally found one. I have always admired your brows and I can’t wait to hear what your holy grail combo is!
You do have nice brows in the before shot but I can see what a difference filled in brows make in the after shot. Your eyes are framed so much better.
Your natural brows are virtually the same as mine! I fill mine in too but would love to be braver..
They look great, my brows actually have gaps in them as they are so sparce so it makes them very hard to work with and I have to be careful with what I use as it can often look to fake. I’ll look forward to your Anastasia review
Great post! I’m a HUGE believer in the importance of brows. Mine are nicely shaped but are blonde, so they don’t show up well. Add to that the fact that I color my hair nearly black and you have a recipe for disaster if I don’t fill them in with a dark powder/pencil/wax/marker. I don’t currently have an HG product for brows, but I’m religious about doing them every single day.
It’s amazing what a difference the correct color and shape can do for your face!!

I am always shocked by how much of a difference good brows make. I definitely love filling mine in, even though sometimes it’s difficult to find the right shade when my hair is an unnatural hue.
Excellent post. I am also a fan of putting on eyebrows (unless they are full and well shaped naturally, which they often are in teens and 20s). There is also the importance of NOT overplucking in your youth. It really *is* possible that they won’t grow back.
PP, your natural brows are quite ashy, as are mine. When I look for a brow product, I have to hunt for names like charcoal, granite, and the like. Bobbi Brown’s Grey eyeshadow actually works well, but her others don’t, as they are too warm. Two others I have good luck with are MAC Coquette and Mystery.
It does make a massive difference even when not wearing much makeup. The first time I had mine shaped professionally, I couldn’t believe how much difference it made!
I totally agree that brows are so important and something we shouldn’t overlook when doing “our face”. I’ve been several times to the Nordstrom’s Anastasia girls to have my eyebrows done and I’ve been happy, every single time I’ve gone to get them tweezed (my skin is too sensitive for waxing). I love Anastasia’s brow products like her stencil kit and brow gel, but my ultimate is my LMDB brow pencil!!!! You remind me I’m over do for a brow appt. and that just won’t do now that I’m a beauty blogger – lol!
